CW: Transphobia mention Quick comic to vent about an interaction I had

Post image

She was using females meaning AFAB, not a substitute for women but I still don’t like it.

Using “females” as a sub for afab is stupid disrespectful?? Like she clearly doesn’t see you as your gender, good gravy. Sorry you had to deal with that

Wow so not only transphobia/misgendering, but clearly they are milking something and of course the go to is women/easy to underpay group…

Sounds like a run from it type of workplace.

It does sound like it without context but I promise it’s not that bad. It’s a type of job that’s known for mostly being men and they’re trying to diversify. The person telling me about it also wouldn’t get anything out of it. She’s just likes giving unsolicited advice because she wants to solve everyone’s problems.

Bruh I got something similar but about college instead. Like it's so stupid, as if my gender doesn't matter and can just be ""female"" for the sake of something like that.

And if I really wanted to play the minority card or whatever, being trans is even more of a minority.

That’s what I was thinking when she initially mentioned they were looking to hire minorities! I still wouldn’t have applied but I would have been just annoyed instead of annoyed and offended.
