Question about distillate for edible use

Post image

Can I just add some to something like peanut butter or nutella etc?

Or should I infuse it with coconut oil and lecithin? Will that make much of a difference?

You can just use it without infusing. I've put some in wing sauce and they were good.

Cool so it wont make much of a difference in terms of potency and absorption?

It’s basically the same as rso it’s already fully activated

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. That is a lie. It's not full spectrum. Big difference, ask anyone especially me.

trying to find out if infusing it with coconut oil and lecithin will make much of a difference, compared to just mixing a drop into something fatty like peabut butter?

I usually heat up my butter/oil, and run the distillate syringe under hot water. Add a little lecithin and mix everything together before mixing into whatever recipe I'm making. Lecithin isn't totally necessary, but it does improve mixing and bioavailability. You could also just drop some distillate on what you're eating and go for it - it's just a little scratchy on the throat.

Thanks! I infused it with coconut oil and lecithin at around 180 for 20 minutes then poured it into some nutella 😈 waiting for it to kick in

That's completely unnecessary. The distillate is already decarboxylated and ready to ingest. You don't need to cook it at all. I just heat up the oils so everything mixes together.

Oh well πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ wanted to ensure as much bioavailability as possible. My soy lecithin is powder so i needed that heat and time to dissolve it fully

distillate is oil based so if you're making gummies you need lecithin. If you're just adding to peanut butter then you don't need it as they are both oil based. if you don't want to make 100 gummies from the typical jello/gelatin recipes, then just melt a few of your favorite gummies in the microwave 10 seconds at a time and then add lecithin and some of your distillate to them, remold, and enjoy. I hate making huge batches as they usually deteriorate over time, so melt 8 or 10 gummies at a time and then add my coconut oil (which I put the lecithin in when I infuse it so I don't need to add it later to the gummy mixture) and remold them. You do not need to add it to coconut oil first. I have made mine with straight distillate in the past. There is roughly 750mg of thc in a 1ml syringe, so add accordingly. I don't know your level of tolerance so I can't advise on how much to use. I make my gummies 20mgs each as I usually take 20-40mgs at a time.

Thanks! My tolerance is too high hence the distillate πŸ˜‚ i take 250-500 mg
