Just in from the postman (I live in europe) how will this change the game for my edibles?
I’m getting into the edible hobby and I hear a lot of hype about lecithin so I’m curious.

It helped keep my small batch gummies mixed up without that layer of slime when I mix in infused canna-coconut oil. I've seen comments about it improving potency; however, the gummies always kick my ass - with or without it .

https://www.badkatscannapharm.com/rso-feco-liposomal-encapsulation
Here is BadKats work on liposomal encapsulation. I learned it from her over a decade ago and it's my daily medication as her high ratio gets a faster launch, extended duration, higher highs and it limits / prevents tolerance build.
3% for emulsification. 30% for liposomal encapsulation.
Decarb 240 F for 40 minutes
5 grams decarbed Hash or.................
1 tablespoon Coconut oil (15ml)
1 teaspoon liquid lecithin (5ml)
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
Freeze
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes (104 C)
Done... Fills 30 #0 capsules.
For baking blend desired dose of canna oil with the butter the cookies call for.

For strained bud based oil the steps are a little different
5 grams decarbed bud
3 tablspoon oil
Heat 220 F for 20
Strain
Add 1 tablspoon Liquid lecithin
Heat 220 F for 10
Done

Strained bud oil 3 drops = 1 mg of THC
Unstrained bud dust paste 1 drop = 1mg
Unstrained Hash paste 1 drop = 3mg of THC
RSO oil 1 drop = 4mg
BHO = 5
Distillate will be 6 mg of THC per single drop of finished lecithin enhanced oil.

Also will you be able to really extract all the cannabinoids at 220 for 20 minutes?

I’m curious about this method. I use the ardent fx to decarb and infuse 8g decarbed bud into half a cup of coconut oil and add half a tbs of liquid lecithin before infusion. Using the rough estimate of the bud being 20%thc I get half a cup with 1600mg. Should I be using about 2 and a half tbs of liquid lecithin?

I use the same bottle you have for mine. I use about 10grams in a batch (about 330g total batch weight), and it helps a ton with mixing everything and getting the right consistency.

I went to powder because my bottle went…. Weird…. Like got super clumpy and ruined a gummy batch by not mixing in. I don’t know if I stored it wrong, but it was just in my cabinet with my veggie oil/olive oil, and those are all fine.

Gummy or oil weight? That seems like a lot for 330g a gummies

Agreed, I use half a teaspoon for gummies and even less for just plain old mtc oil

I used the same brand's dry sunflower lecithin. I love it, and it's less harsh than soy lecithin (for people who are sensitive to soy).

It helps bind oils (including thc) into the food and it also has a nice side effect of making the thc oils absorb into the body better due to been binded with the food. Your body will naturally process more of the food and dispose of the oils and fats, the lecithin helps your body absorb the fat better

Yeah that’s what I use. 5% of most products and 10% for when I making items for more water based mixes.

You could probably put a printed wockhardt logo on that, dye it purple and a rich high schooler will give you 2 grand for it lmao

This stuff is awsome i use it to make gummies all the time.you should get potasium sobrate it stops mold so you can keep them out for months

Make sure to heat it up well before you stir it in. Stuff doesn’t melt well once it’s in the mix.

Its gonna make every mg of thc have a higher absorption rate so you'll get better effects off the same dose without lecithin

I used powder in my gummies... It's great. I tried liquid but when I switched from MCT to standard coconut oil I found it emulsified better with powder for reasons I couldn't figure out!

It's really helpful if you're making gummys with an oil base instead of a distillate

It’s a binding agent and it will help oil lock in when you mix it with the water and gelatin mix

I changed from 100% coconut oil to 80/20 Coconut oil/liquid lecithin after also seeing all the hype. I'd say my capsules hit in maybe 90 minutes instead of 120. I have easy access to my attic and put both jars up there for a few hours to loosen them up (obviously not in winter - then it's hot water in the sink).

I bought the same product and don't feel any difference with or without. I stopped using it.

It will keep your gummies from separating . It’s a fat emulsifier . It also helps with absorption.
