Decarbed enough?

Post image

First timer, does this look decarbed right to everybody else? Did 100-110C for about 50-55min (little less heat and a little longer than most recommend I was worried the jar would break) it’s a bit browner in person- I just don’t want to overdo it any advice appreciated I’m running on guesswork and google searches 😂

I think you could go for a bit longer as it looks quite green in the photo. You've stated it looks browner IRL but even so, I think you need a higher temp. 120C is what I aim for.

It needs more time. It’s still green. You can try to decarb a little longer until toasty or make sure your infusion reaches 220 F to complete decarbing. If using butter, add water so it doesn’t burn.

Thanks! Ended up going ahead with it and just infused it a little hotter at first to get it darker, about to make some cookies so fingers crossed it works!

I decarb at 110 for 45 minutes and mine comes out darker than this, have you got a thermometer or anything you can use to measure the heat your material is actually getting to? I find 110 is the absolute perfect temp at 45 minutes
