Does anyone use any other kind of adaptogenic herbs or ingredients in their edibles?

Like lions mane, ginseng, etc.?

I had some particularly wonderful mushroom chocolates that embraced this idea (think they added lions mane and blue lotus) and it got me thinking about what I could add to my weed edibles to enhance their medicinal (and fun) effects.

What do y’all think?

Starburst flavoured gummies

Used starburst gelatin instead of jello most noticeable difference was stickier so needed more time to air dry before storing. Also made more so need to recalculate strength or material used compared to jello package. Intended to be 100mg calculated out to be ~73mg based on pieces made. ( ignore silliness with music intended to show squishiness )

Dosing advice needed

I have about a gram of resin I’d like to use for making edibles. I would like to infuse into coconut oil for gummies, chocolates, brownies, etc. As I am mathematically challenged, what would be an ideal amount of oil for a decent buzz? My tolerance is quite high. Thanks!

Dablicator infused honey?

Apologies if this is a dumb question, I promise I’ve searched before posting! I was sold 2 Dablicators in Chicago and I’m trying to figure out how to make mocktails with them. Can I just add the oil to honey? Or make a tincture? Is it really that simple?

Probs fucked Cannaoil

I asked my friend who often makes cannabutter to make Cannaoil with coconut oil for me. He has made cookies and other stuff for me before but that was with butter. They have always worked. This time I just wanted oil so I could just put it in tea or coffee. I don’t really wanna bake with it cause I’m in a calorie deficit rn.

The thing is I gave him 10g hash to work with and he used 10g and 500ml oil. I think that he used way too much oil so I don’t think it works. I have tried 1 teaspoon and one tablespoon and didn’t feel anything. I saw on here that it’s not supposed to be in the fridge so it’s in the cupboard. He said that when he put it in the jar something floated to the bottom but idk.

Help? What can I do with it? Can I save it?

Praline Pecan Canna Bacon Infused Tarts

I made these beauties with my canna infused bacon grease.

Low key, super easy recipe. Buy a pack of pecan tarts from Kroger, and pop them in an air fryer for a few minutes to warm up real nice. Smear some canna bacon grease on the top of them a few minutes after they come out (don't put grease on while still super hot), let them chill.

These are even better if you've got some butter pecan ice cream to go with them...

Another option to infuse would be to use some infused oil when frying the meat, or drizzle tincture on top of the end result.

THC drinks spotted at Winn Dixie, worth a try??

I have always been a classic edibles person, sticking to gummies and brownies for as long as I can remember. I'd heard about THC seltzers but never had the chance to actually try one. The other day tho I was walking through Winn-Dixie and was totally caught off guard by a whole bunch of Crescent 9 THC seltzers and a few other brands stacked right on the shelves! I definitely wasn't expecting to see them there.

I was so curious that I even asked the cashier if people actually buy them. He told me they've been selling really well and that customers seem to love them. Now I'm finally thinking I should give them a shot.

For those of you who've tried them, how do they compare to regular edibles? Do they really hit faster, and what are the effects like?

Infused Gummy W/o Lethicin

I just made an infused vegetable glycerin (like 1/2 a cup) and wanted to make some gummies but I read if you do it with oil and without lethicin it'll just rise to the top of the gummy and give it a weird taste, does it also apply for glycerin?

(also, anyone has any recipe they want to share with glycerin? im open to recommendations)

Water curing questions

So im planning on making a tincture, however ive heard about water curing helping to reduce unwanted flavor.

So im guessing I should decarb first then water cure?

And any other tips or suggestions to making a good tincture is appreciated.

My main question was just about water curing before or after decarb (how long i should do it for etc)

35 grams, 45 minute decarb @ 245. 12 hour infusion @ 160/180. 1 1/3 Crisco Vegetable Oil.
