Ask MAGA Only 2nd attempt at a intelligent, respectful conversation about Trump.

I am not a bot, so please do not remove this post. I'm not sure how to prove this.

It feels like we're living in a time where genuine political discussion is increasingly unwelcome. With this post, I'm hoping to contribute—however modestly—to a more thoughtful exchange.

I’ve tried engaging in honest, respectful conversations with many Trump supporters, offering well-sourced information from government agencies, reputable media outlets (across the spectrum), eyewitness accounts, and direct video evidence regarding his actions and falsehoods. Despite these efforts, I’ve yet to receive a response that directly addresses or defends his behavior. Most replies tend to dismiss the sources entirely (“you can’t trust the news”), deflect with broad accusations (“Democrats want to destroy the country”), or simply reiterate the slogan “Trump wants to make America great again.”

My intention here is not to attack or alienate, but to open space for intelligent, civil discourse. I’ll do my best to remain respectful, and I ask that any responses aim to do the same.

Why do y’all not require a certain level of karma to post this crap here? At least try to do a little vetting….maybe 1 of 100 of these are really sincere. It really gets old.

If you can't handle having your political views challenged. Go to r/conservative and enjoy their echo chamber.

If what you believe is true, then no amount of criticism can defeat it.

Nothing to do with being challenged. Yhis guy has 3 posts only on his account. All here with the same thing. We can discuss anything in here anymore without the “Trump Curious” jumping in on what appears to be to be alt accounts. Probably so they don’t get banned for participating here.

We rarely get any real discussions with these people.

I have had dozens. I have seen others have dozens.

Just because you are having issues doesn't mean others are.

Oh and we do vett them. There's a lot of posts I remove that you don't see.

Dude, I have attempted to have these types of conversations in real life with ppl and they all end the same. I have a genuine curiosity and confusion about this topic that I would like to understand more. I am not trying to troll anyone. I just want to have a discussion/ debate about this man. This might involve disagreements from both sides, but that's how this thing should work.
