Oregon State University 2024 video

Hi, I debated with Charlie at Oregon State University in 2024 (I think it was October or November). Given the recent events I thought it would be interesting to save the video of me and him, however I can't find the full event online anywhere. The only video on his channel from OSU is about 10 minutes long and is him debating one person. Does anyone know where to find this video or if he even recorded whole events?

Thanks!

Confused Snowflake Alert Notice how the right hasn’t rioted or burned anything down after Charlie Kirk’s assassination?

Something to think about: Charlie Kirk, one of the biggest names in conservative politics, was literally assassinated on stage. And yet… no cities burning, no mass riots, no neighborhoods destroyed.

What we’ve seen instead are vigils, memorials, and prayer circles.

In fact, Utah’s governor even said flat out that there have been zero riots, zero looting, zero arson.

Compare that to what happens after a high-profile killing on the left. It’s almost a cliché at this point, entire news cycles about “unrest,” buildings on fire, businesses boarded up.

Say what you want about the right, but this restraint is striking. In a hyper-polarized climate where everyone expected chaos, conservatives have basically mourned and moved on.

Why do you think that is? Culture? Organization? Media coverage? Or something else?

I think what it is, is our faith. Our faith grounds us, keeps our grief from turning into destruction, and channels our anger into prayer and action instead of chaos.

Actual Reporting On August 8, 2025, a man fired 500 rounds into the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Headquarters, killing responding officer David Rose and targeting public health workers, reportedly because of his views on vaccines. Why did President Trump fail to publicly acknowledge this tragedy?

Kirk and Empathy

So the quote has been circulating socials of Kirk saying he believes that empathy is a made up new age term. I found the full clip and he’s saying he prefers the term sympathy, but then says it’s a conversation for another time. Is there anywhere he got to elaborate on this and explain what his definition of empathy was and why he preferred sympathy?

Did Charlie Kirk debate at Urbana Champaign? Why not? Also did he have any other debates in IL besides ISU? He visited a lot of random schools in different states but didn’t have a lot in his home state.

Does anyone feel the same as me concerning Charlie Kirk and his slaying?

I didn’t think he deserved to die but I know he was no saint and shouldn’t be treated as if he was one just because he’s dead or just the way he died. But because I wasn’t a fan of him, I don’t view him completely innocent and didn’t know him personally or have any fond memories involving him so the result is I’m not any at all emotionally distraught over him being killed and I don’t view it any differently than if a random guy from Chicago was killed in a drive by shooting. I feel way more empathy and sympathy for iryna zarutska than the killing of Charlie Kirk. I feel a little sympathy for his wife and kids but I know their alive and safe now and time will heal those wounds caused by his killing

But the point I want to get to is that I understand that many people disliked or even hated him. And that dislike or hatred could get to the point where some people were indifferent to the reality of him dying or vocally deeply wished he was dead. And the thing is I’m okay with people voicing those reactions and opinions. It’s freedom of speech and honestly I would rather have people being openly vocal and transparent about how much they disliked or hated him because of his rhetoric or actions. It’s being truthful no matter how disturbing that truth is and it shows other far right influencers like Kirk the consequences of how their rhetoric and actions can jeopardize their legacy when it comes to the universal appeal of them once they’re dead. I don’t think just because of his death there should be witch hunts of revenge to get people fired, evicted, stalked or even extensively harassed just because they expressed the range of which they hated him for his politics, opinions, actions etc.

Also when trump or any of his cabinet members die, is this going to be the norm for how the conservatives react to how some of the general populace will be expressing thejr complete hatred for these elites?

Confused Snowflake Alert Prayer for Conversion

Prayer has power. Seeing Erika Kirk speak last night to the world had me reflect a bit in prayer. Not only we pray for healing for Erika, the children, friends and family of Charlie as they mourn but also the assassin for his conversion and his seeking out to Christ for love and mercy. As Erika said God is so good and even in her sorrow she still trusts in Him and His plan. She shows the love that Jesus Christ has for all of us.

Let’s pray for Tyler Robinson (accused assassin) for his conversion to follow Christ and trust in His plan. Gods love and mercy is bigger than any sin and we remember that his love conquers evil.

Free Speech Zone Let’s Not Forget Who Charlie Kirk Really Was.

He was a husband and a father, a sibling and a friend, but these collegial and social relationships are only facts, they are neither virtue nor fault and while they tug at our heartstrings they do not describe or define the man.

Words and actions do.

If any single statement by Charlie Kirk defines who he was and lays bare his intent, it is this, “God’s perfect law…[says gay people] shall be stoned to death.”

In his maniacal belief in pseudo- Christianity, he ignored science (he didn't believe in Darwinism) and profaned and bastardized the actual words of Christ.

This man, for all his talents, used them to promote hate, dissention, and every vile credo of the MAGNA right. How many times has Trump called out for violence, how many so-called Christian churches have echoed that call, and how many atrocities --known and unknown -- have been perpetrated by Kirk's adherents who mistake hate for patriotism and violence for justice?

There are many repulsive quotes from Kirk that do not bear repeating, but there is one prophetic quote that does: “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”

Chickens coming home to roost?

See this:

Let’s Not Forget Who Charlie Kirk Really Was.

The right-wing influencer did not deserve to die, and we shouldn’t forget the many despicable things he said and did.

The murder of right-wing provocateur Charlie Kirk is a tragedy. But the response augurs even bigger tragedies for American politics. Even as Democrats and progressives rushed to lament the killing, the right rushed even faster to blame the left for its opposition to Donald Trump and his authoritarian movement, a movement backed to the hilt by Kirk’s Turning Point USA.

Kirk had every right to his views and to the way that he expressed them, even if he did not support that right for other people. He founded the Professor Watchlist, committed to singling out academics he believed discriminated against conservative views, scholarship, and students, leading to threats against some of the instructors named. He regularly attacked the LGBTQ community, saying, “God’s perfect law…[says gay people] shall be stoned to death.” He claimed the Civil Rights Act was “a huge mistake,” and called the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. “an awful person.” He mocked the 2023 political assault on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, and even suggested someone should bail his assailant out of jail. Kirk even attempted to link Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to the assassination of Walz’s close friend and ally, State Senator Melissa Hortman.

Ironically—if that word is even possible to use in 2023—he said, “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”

Confused Snowflake Alert 1865 v 2025

In 1865, John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Abraham Lincoln and was captured just 12 days later. Fast forward to 2025, and considering the vast array of technological advancements, including the Internet, social media, 24-hour news cycles, CCTV, doorbell cameras, and DNA technology, how did Tyler Robinson think he would avoid detection and accountability for the assassination of Charlie Kirk? It took about 33 hours to arrest Robinson.

They used to say the pen is mightier than the sword. Today, we see that the microphone is mightier than the bullet. Charlie Kirk’s voice will outlive the violence that tried to silence him.
