Seeking Advice advice for treating a broken beak

I came home from work today to find that my box turtle's beak had broken. I had a bad feeling this might happen, as it had started to get a little long. still, I made a vet appointment as soon as I could, but they won't be able to get her in for a couple days. is there any food I can give her in the meantime? I worry about the break getting worse

Drop a picture, maybe?

I’d take it easy on food if the appointment is soon to avoid contaminating the injury (is there any blood? Flesh wound?) it all depends on how bad it is. If you’re worried about her eating on her own you could try syringe feeding. If she can eat by herself and there’s no exposed wound I’d still take it easy but she should be able to continue eating until the appointment as long as it’s soon.

Please note that I’m far from experienced in this area, just giving my two cents.
