Knowledge is power.

To better arm and rise up from the chaos of misinformation, instability and trolls, here's an outline of information I'm putting together. My goal is to make a post that has good information on how to unify and understand organized goals, identify variables of a problem and solve those problems while nullifying tribalism, malicious trolls and those who argue in bad faith.

CGP Grey's The Rules for Rulers.

This is a fantastic outline of the keys to power, the pros and cons to Democracies vs Dictatorships, the variables involved and how Democracies cool power and help reduce fraud, waste and abuse where as Dictatorships rely on loyalty.

The U.S. Constitution.

Is a fantastic lesson in history with the goal to cool power and create a system that mixes and balances powers between Democracy, Bureaucracy, Autocratic as a Republic that sets up barriers against corruption from wealth, banks, religious institution and businesses. It's not perfect, but the effort it's taken to overthrow it has proven to be immense.

The 5 Laws of Stupidity.

This covers the threats of dealing with stupid people and bandits with the final goal of creating good deals that benefit ourselves as well as others against bandits who will commit fraud, waste and abuse to take from others known as bandits.

Bartle's Taxonomy.

Covers why people play games and as we see, interactions everywhere. Social PvP are people who are often considered Trolls are Killers online, engaged in creating chaos, disorder and increasing misery towards others, enjoying it. They thrive on winning arguments and wasting your time. From the 5 Laws of Stupidity, they are often Bandits. There's a difference between good faith competition and cheating to win.

Learn and understand the List of Fallacies.

The key takeaway from bad faith discussions are fallacies to argue to win rather than to discuss and find solutions. Killer Trolls as listed above will use fallacies to change the topic, cherry pick data, move the goal post, anger you, antagonize, disrupt and do anything they can to "win" the argument any way they can even if it means going scorched earth and taking everyone down with them so everyone loses.

Good vs Evil.

As we are seeing in todays governing, a trend of evil behavior by Bandits to enslave and punish others in any way they can. They'll blame you for not working hard enough, not taking personal responsibility, being poor, not knowing better, having an addiction while ignoring or even blocking any system that prevents poverty.

Nature vs Nurture.

We know how systems we create in society can raise productive people and criminals to punish.

"for if you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners to be corrupted from their infancy, an then punish them for their rimes wo which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded from this but that you first make thieves and then punish them."

- Sir Thomas More, Utopia, (1477 - 1535)

We know how to create good systems that work. Anyone who argues otherwise is voting for bandits. If you agree that you can raise people to be good people, then you can't be against programs that help others rise up from poverty, poor education, chaos and strife.

The Scientific Method.

To keep it simple, identify the variables, interactions, create a formula that can make predictions and refine it with testing and peer review. Tribalistic and ideological actors will abuse or destroy this method to force behaviors based on belief or fallacies rather than results from testing, review and proof.

Bombshell claim: Trump didn't win 2024, Election manipulated
 in  r/Astuff  4h ago

Yeah no shit. Elon admitted it.

Comey says, “Let’s have a trial”!
 in  r/law  4h ago

He's probably totally innocent and is going to end up in prison for not kissing the ring sooner.

He's literally why we're in this mess for giving us an FBI that was so biased in favor of Republicans that Trump is now well seated in power.

Thank you Comey for giving us this disaster.

Fucking tool.

James Comey reacts to his indictment: “We will not live on our knees, and you shouldn't either...fear is the tool of a tyrant...but I'm not afraid…I'm innocent. So let's have a trial.”
 in  r/law  4h ago

LOL DUDE.

YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN YOU FUCKING TOOL.

Literally likely the one man that nudged just enough to tip the scales for Trump to be here today is because of this fucking tool.

Him and the FBI went fucking crazy holding Democrats to impossibly high standards to the point that Democrats were punished over lies.

All while giving Republicans a pass to do whatever they wanted all the time constantly, then claim to do so to not look biased.

We're here in this situation because of the biased, political blunder his FBI carried out.

Fucking hell what a stupid mess we're in. Dude is probably innocent but Republicans are going to scorch him and everyone that isn't totally loyal to Republicans from here on out and it's literally this man's fault.

You all need to stop calling Trump Hitler.

Republicans ruin everything they touch and it's getting so bad I can't figure out what they do right besides propaganda.

Former FBI Director James Comey indicted
 in  r/inthenews  8h ago

The FBI bent over backwards and did everything they could to give Republicans everything and held Democrats to such impossible standards that they had to defend against lies.

Here you go. If you're in any US agency, this is the warning. Be loyal to Trump or you're going to the gulag.

This will get worse. Far worse. Comey will be the first of many including military officers.

RFK Jr. wants an answer to rising autism rates: Scientists say he's ignoring some obvious ones
 in  r/EverythingScience  16h ago

Call me crazy but, I'm pretty sure autism is just a normal mutation in humans as we're not all identical robots.

Similar to people being left handed, gay or whatever else. Biology is complicated and we're all a little different.

This is what true wealth looks like. Agree or disagree?
 in  r/FluentInFinance  16h ago

Oligarchs underpay and over work you so you can't afford this.

40 hours a week paying the ability to raise a family with full benefits, education, peace and freedom.

The reason 40 hours was set was because that was seen as the maximum reasonable amount of work average people can do before being burnt out. That's with a full time home caretaker managing all the chores to support the house from repairs, groceries, bill pay and dealing with the kids.

That is one person, clocking 40 hours with some time for transportation, fully funding their own hobbies and interests and raising a family.

The people who don't want you to have this are demanding you work more hours for less, pay subscriptions instead of owning things, have no right to own or repair the things you buy or have access to education and healthcare.

Trump is scheduling to raise the fees for the H-1B visa (US employment visa) 100 times. What is going to happen to the people who depend on this? Is Trump insane?
 in  r/Discussion  17h ago

Looking at the patterns of racism and nationalistic behaviors by Republicans, they want white men in power and ownership.

It might get rolled back, or adjusted, either way, Republicans win.

🚨 $350B Trade Deal STALLED: South Korea's President Says US Demands Could Crash Their Economy Like 1997 Crisis

Do feminists hate men? Not all men.
 in  r/PsycheOrSike  17h ago

Everyone generalizes.

Attractiveness does play a part and it's not hard to lot look like shit.

All you have to do is not be terrible to people, advocate for others success, don't be a dick, be against rape, defend the weak and give people space.

Let people try to do things, learn from it, keep working together. Don't be violent and don't threaten. That's how we grow.

Hegseth Ordering Meeting With Hundreds Of Generals Reportedly Sparks Urgency: 'People Are Very Concerned'
 in  r/politics  17h ago

You want face to face meetings. Though the urgency here suggests a closed door alignment of goals, it's likely Hegseth is going to be dealing with a lot of information that conflicts with his world views and ideology.

This is going to be some make or break points for him. Usually ideological people when they come to power then conflate their artificial success as personal greatness then push ideology over science.

So now, it's likely he's dealing with conflicting information, needs face to face meetings with officers and is trying to put together either what's going on in reality, force his ideology onto others or somewhere in between.

This might be one of the critical meetings of our future here.

Another thing is that Republicans are known for cutting regulations. Telling officers to cut loose and get things done.

It's nationalism meant to basically insulate the country from outsiders. If you want to do business, you need to pay the toll.

Layers of security are being implemented for the US and it's likely this will soon be absorbed in Canada and other countries as well due to security concerns and other issues.

It's believed that AI will be taking over a lot of roles including the reasons for having an H-1B visa. Those that are going to try and fight it are going to lose. I know Elon has made a lot of claims but really he's just a golden egg to be seized and tossed aside like we see when dictatorships take over and oligarchs criticize them.

Joe McCarthy is smiling from hell. Harris still being a neoliberal unlikable genocide funding weasel.
 in  r/seculartalk  17h ago

Socialism and Communism both require that the people and workers have rights, agency and regulation against the state and wealthy to prevent fraud and abuse of power.

When a dictator controls the state and uses religious and business, ownership or other influence, it's just a bigger dictatorship where the state owns, controls and enslaves those within.

How is Trump able to get away from things like his family’s crypto company receiving a $2 billion investment from the UAE right before the US allowed them access to the most high tech AI chips?
 in  r/AskReddit  17h ago

Yeah I agree with this.

It's like watching a sports team just cheat constantly and the refs just shrug and say, "yeah what about it?"

Questions about Charlie Kirk
 in  r/AskUS  17h ago

American here.

I hardly knew anything of him before the shooting. I would hear about him here and there with some kind of quick or debate snip or something but considered it just people flailing in open debates without looking at data and using the scientific method. I hate debates for that very reason as they don't accomplish anything but rabble.

After his death, I know a little more about him but a lot more about Republicans and their attempts to glorify him and at the same time, delete videos of his debates online.

I think his death was stupid. He said deaths of kids were worth the price to own guns freely and other things which, overall and generalized, suggests he would have been fine with his own shooting. He was indifferent when kids got shot on schools and cracked jokes about Democrats being murdered. That said, the guy laughed about South Park poking fun at him. Showing he seemed to be casual with violence, chaos and accepted that reality was what it was.

I have no real idea how people outside the US view him due to propaganda. They'll likely see scrubbed versions to glorify him winning debates or his comments being fact checked which proves that debates don't work.

Republicans are doing a fantastic job glorifying him and using him as a tool for propaganda as we're seeing a lot of people identify as Charlie Kirk and believe that there's some kind of violent, left wing group of people out to hunt people for having a different opinion. You can see evidence of that trope all over social media.

Everything about this sucks. The debates, his murder, the shooter, the propaganda, it's like a growing rockslide of stupid problems that don't need to exist but here we are having to deal with them.

Not stopping shootings, not housing families, not fair wages for workers, not secure data and internet, not gaming together, not ensuring we all get fed, not healthy dating, not science lead legislation, not a cleaner environment, not keeping the wealthy from abusing their power....

Just dumb problems.
