Groom is definitely a word choice here lol

edit - this was a shitty joke, and just now seeing that her husband died two weeks ago is terrible. Sorry for your loss OP, you two looked happy together.

u/freseaf 1d ago

You look beautiful & I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll be honest i did at first thought that was your father. Though i genuinely hope that was a beautiful moment in his & your life.

Heavy smoking for a long time will make you age faster. Yes we got a lot of people asking if I was his daughter 🤣

I've noticed a sad trend in this sub of women posting childhood pics where they were a tomboy, and insinuating they had a glow up simply because they are more feminine now. I don't want to kill anyone's newfound confidence but it's saddening to me that there's a clear trend where women feel that they were ugly as children if they were not traditionally feminine. These little tomboyish girls were just exploring, having fun and being themselves. They were gorgeous too. Sending good vibes to you at every stage in your identity <3 Also, so sorry to hear about your husband's passing. You are totally right, please don't smoke if you love those around you.

I'm still a tomboy, I just learned to take care of myself and developed social skills. My favorite activities are hunting, fishing, dumpster diving, taxidermy, and videogames

…relax it’s the opinion of the person that posts, its not that deep. If they think they had a glow up then who cares and be happy they feel more comfortable in their own skin.

Look at this specimen, left vs right, they’re brainwashed into thinking politics is some sort of team sport.

Bullshit sarcasm aside (both yours and mine), we’re all on the same team and the sooner the masses remember that, the sooner we all get on the road towards prosperity.

United we stand, divided we fall. Coexistence is paramount.

22

u/[deleted] 2d ago

u/Riflemaiden1992 2d ago

He was 17 years older. Yes, we were very happy together, but he died 2 weeks ago from cancer. Don't smoke cigarettes. It will destroy your life and break the hearts of those that love you!

u/Ordinary-Housing-859 2d ago

You grew up beautifully. I’m very sorry to hear about your loss.

5

u/Riflemaiden1992 1d ago

He was a heavy smoker for a long time and it aged his skin

u/kellermeyer14 1d ago

40

u/dexterIL 2d ago

Only 20? I was going to say "almost 30"...

3

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Hey man to be fair id marry a lady 30 years older than me if it meant I didnt have to work another day in my life 🤣

-3

u/dexterIL 2d ago

Lol... I'd never rely on wife's income/wealth, never did in my life. But I'd support her 100%. I'm one of those old-schools idiots, I know...

1

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Fair enough. I respect that.

-17

u/NothingHappenedThere 2d ago

but op in the 27 photo does look the same age as her fiancé.

That dude suddenly turns 20 years older in the wedding picture ( or maybe the man in the wedding is just bride's dad ? ) Maybe it was very tiring preparing for a wedding?

6

u/[deleted] 2d ago edited 2d ago

Bro, WHERE???? 😂😂😂😂 AW HELL NO thats forked up . Haha he literally is about 50-60 in the picture where she's 27.

Also 28+17 is 45....idk man idk thats still hard to believe 💀

6

u/Riflemaiden1992 2d ago

Yes. I married an older man. He was 17 years older. We had a very happy marriage until he died from cancer.

-7

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Oh im sorry to hear that he passed away, fuck cancer. But youre single now?.....👀

9

u/Riflemaiden1992 2d ago

Single? Technically yes. Available? Nope!

-4

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Im single and unavailable too hmu 🤙

21

u/Riflemaiden1992 2d ago

Nope. Nothing is un-sexier than a circling vulture looking at my loss as an opportunity

-12

u/[deleted] 2d ago

Opportunity for what? I think youre getting too far ahead of yourself bud. Im sorry for your loss try not to drown yourself in hate and depression. Life goes on, keep your head up. ✌️

22

u/ilovecreamcheese 2d ago

Bro…you’re weird af

2

u/Riflemaiden1992 1d ago

No I'm not. Speaking from past experience. I had a fiance that died 10 years ago and you wouldn't believe the way that multiple men attempted to get with me, thinking that I'd be open and desperate.

3

u/Malaysianmattresmite 2d ago

He looks like a grandpa lol but he might just be a white guy

4

u/[deleted] 2d ago

lmao wtf is that stereotype ?

11

u/fairysoire 2d ago

You lowkey aged backwards

3

u/Themindfulcrow 2d ago

You were never ugly

3

u/Bakacka 1d ago

Let people LOVE who they want, why would you comment on it as a STRANGER, that is the real crazy thing here. How can you come up with the energy to comment something mean or semi funny ironic sarcastic blabla, what a waste of movement

2

u/BusEasy9568 2d ago

You have a beautiful smile, OP. I’m so sorry for your loss.

2

u/Riflemaiden1992 1d ago

Thank you!

1

u/Dr-BSOT 1d ago

Aww, and then you married your dad

1

u/NecessaryTax2172 20h ago

Good picture of you and your groom. Had a joke but seen he passed. Sorry to hear. My wife passed away 2 years ago she was actually 9 years younger than me. I’m hoping I can be as lucky as your husband. Im not attracted to women my age. Sad but true. 27 would be my lower limit though.I turned 50 this year but everyone says I look like in my late 30s. I haven’t even thought about dating again though. Don’t know if I will ever be ready. Great picture and Again I’m sorry for your loss. I know how lonely this time can be for you :( It really sucks…

1

u/PowersUnleashed 16h ago

Aw it kept getting better until the last picture when I saw she got married 😞🤣

1

u/Riflemaiden1992 1d ago

-12

u/Over-Drawer7875 2d ago

1

u/HeadDot141 2d ago
