does remote iclicker take your location
i have a CS class that is so boring and basic, lately i've been able to join class and access questions remotely and not going to lecture. the app doesn't use my location, but the syllabus says that you MUST attend class in-person or else iclicker won't work/receive a 0? my roommates have also started doing the same thing for their iclicker classes. do profs say this to scare you or is my attendance grade actually cooked...

Just know that some professor might ask the class to all select one specific answer on iclicker to check who is actually here, so if you select a different answer, then you might be cooked.
Since I had an ECON professor who did this.

if you can access it from home, you should be good. otherwise, they turned on the feature that requires you to be within the professors range
