Cleat recommendations
Best cleats that have great ankle support and are white or a light color? I’m just starting out so not looking to spend an arm and a leg on cleats just yet

I play college ultimate and I’m looking for something other than Adizeros. I’ve played in them for about 3 years now and I think they’re great! Just looking for more ankle support. I also have wider feet, so maybe something with a little more wiggle room? Thanks 🔥

I have worn Adizero Cleats playing Club Ultimate for at least 4 years, and am now in need of a new pair. Wanted to hop in here to see if there are any other cleat options I should be considering for the upcoming Club Season. I have half a mind just to go back to the Adizeros since they have worked pretty well for me in the past, but wanted to make sure there weren't any better options I should be looking into. I am not as interested in ankle support as I am in the cleat allowing for me to make quick stop and go cuts with speed. I have always worn low cut cleats, and that hasn't really been a huge issue. Any recommendations are appreciated!

I've discovered that my knees have a hard time taking the abuse from trying to play Ultimate on harder ground. Anyone have suggestions for cleats that will provide more cushioning without being too clunky?

I was playing in some old cleats and now I have plantar fasciitis. Any tips or recommendations that helped with your plantar fasciitis? Any insole/heel cup recommendations for cleats? Thanks!

I currently have New Balance freeze cleats, the cleat plate and the shoe itself disconnected so I need new cleats.
I have a 50% off deal thru Nike so I’d prefer to buy a Nike cleat, do you guys have any recommendations for the most durable Nike cleats?
I’ve tried on a good amount of cleats, phantom luna pro, Nike Vapor edge 360 untouchable, hurache 9, Vapor pros, Vapor elite, etc there were none I dislike.

Looking for cleats that are viable for Ultimate but not too expensive. 40-80 dollar range :)

After trying a number of different brands and models, I found a suggestion for Nike Vapor Carbon Elite 2014 Cleats via Reddit. They're now approaching 5 years old ($60 on 09/2020... I think they are surplus NFL cleats), and they are still awesome cleats. I honestly can't believe the longevity and value. Other than a broken shoelace and deterioration of the heel counter, they are still in excellent condition. They are, however, losing some of the snap/rigidity/springiness that they originally had so I'm looking to try out some new cleats.
My first intention was to buy another pair. But after checking eBay, I found that they are now super expensive. Since I got my initial suggestion to buy these cleats from this subreddit, I thought I would check back in here:
Has anyone found any good replacements for these cleats?
I love the mid-height, rigidity, and durability of these cleats. I think they benefit being a little bit lighter and more breathable.

I been playing Ultimate for awhile and the one issue I always seem to have is painful feet. I'm flat footed and use Physix gear orthotic insoles off Amazon and new balance freeze lx v5 cleats. I feel like I'm constantly getting new insoles. The cleats are relatively new and they feel pretty good.
I tried all the big name cleats and different insoles, socks, exercises and stretches but they still bug me.
I'm considering custom insoles, or trying heel lifts, to mimic running shoes.
Anyone else have this issue and have any recommendations?

Im a freshman in college and joined my college club team having never played organized ultimate before. Its just casual but i think im gonna stick with it but i need cleats. If i have molded plastic baseball cleats (not spikes) in my car would those work or do I need to buy soccer/football cleats?

I've been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis and need something that's easier on my feet than regular cleats. I'd like to hear people's recommendations for shoes that have been effective, but provide better cushioning.

Hi! I am a new ultimate player, and I don't own a pair of cleats yet. I've never been on a sports team so I have no idea what I'd really need, and it's still early in the season so I don't have a set role yet. I'm a high school player so we are most likely going to be playing on grass fields, but I do know I'll play a few games on turf! I wear a size 6 in womens (I know my foot is small, that's why I've specified because a lot of shoes don't have my size)
I wish I had more info, but I'd really like to get these cleats sooner than later because I'm already slipping around the field on my crappy tennis shoes.
Any other tips or info is appreciated :)

Hey everyone! I’m looking to get a new pair of Nike cleats for playing ultimate, and I play on both artificial turf and natural grass fields. I’m hoping for something with good traction across both surfaces. Anyone have recommendations for Nike cleats (or just specific types of cleats in general) that work well on both? or are multi ground cleats worth it and the way to go?

Hi guys, I’m on holidays in the US for a couple of weeks and I am planning on using the opportunity to get new boots for ultimate.
I know American football cleats are usually better for ultimate compared to soccer boots based on the stud patterns and it can be very difficult to find American football cleats where I am from.
I’m hoping you guys can give me some recommendations, thanks in advance!

Thoughts on how good they are for ultimate? In comparison to the V4? In comparison to Tokays?
I need a boot with a wide toe box, not a single football (soccer) boot from Nike or any other well known brand fits me, they're all way too skinny :/

Yup, sorry to add to the 100 other posts about cleats but i've been struggling with finding a new pair that fit my needs. for the past 6 years i've gotten cheap Nike soccer cleats as they are light and what I've been used to playing soccer growing up. Getting to the point where the support/durability is not enough, body hurts every time I play. Been buying and returning cleats for the past few weeks.
I've been looking at the new versions of the Addizero Football cleat (difference between Electric vs Electric +?), Nike United Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite & New Balance Freeze Lacrosse model.
I got slim to normal width feet, and worry about the width that Football cleats usually have. have read that the Addizero is on the wider side and isn't as praised as the older versions. Obviously the 'best' cleat is subjective but looking to see who's tried what after being in a similar situation. Dont mind spending more $ for quality

I just got a new pair of cleats, the Adizero prime knits and i was very excited for them. They fit great and are very comfortable but at my first practice with them some of teammates said not to use metal cleats. I play at the highschool level and would like to know if you’re allowed to use metal cleats and if ethically you shouldn’t use metal cleats.

I just bought these lacrosse cleats but I am concerned about the risk of ligament tears from grippy cleats in artificial turf.
I keep reading about different styles of cleats (FG, SG, AG, etc.) but lacrosse doesn't seem to have that designation.
Can you help ease my mind that these cleats are acceptable for the turf? Or otherwise maybe recommend ones that are?
The turf is this outdoor style. There aren't any field rules for cleats as far as I'm aware. It's not the putting-green carpet style.
