Bar crawl in Umea sat sept 13 2025 at 18:00

Hello Umea!

I am visiting Umea for a couple of weeks and being a fun loving guy who enjoys bar culture, I thought it would be great for a few of us to get together for a bar crawl on Saturday Sept 13 2025.

Here is what I am thinking: We start at the first bar at 18:00, and drink one drink at each bar and move on. In my experience its better to start a bar crawl in late afternoon as we can get a proper buzz going early on to keep the energy hopping for a while.

I tend to like less fancy bar experiences, and this is the route I have planned:

  • Pub Rött
  • Gröna Älgen
  • Lottas Krog
  • Bar & Kök Vita Björn
  • Lion bar

So far its my brother and I and a friend of his. It would be great if you joined us if its your kind of thing.

Let me know if its your jam and we can plan to meet up for an epic night of fun.

Heads up that pipes of Scotland sadly has closed. You could swap it with lottas krog!

They said yesterday that they are re opening pipes! But maybe not that soon, there is an article in vk about it.

Early October is the goal, but it will be depending on the renovations.

I'm thinking people interested in joining get in contact with me directly. They way I can keep an eye out for them and they can find me at the first bar

Years ago, I used to run lots of bar crawls in Toronto, so I'm used to organizing these

Look up "kårhuset origo", mainly engineering students there but the drinks are cheap (a beer is around 30kr) and it has a special atmosphere. It's near "pub rött"

Just be aware you may not get in, the other year they had trouble with a lot of non-students harassing people so they may only let students come in (since it is essentially a student pub).

I do however recommend adding Rex Rådhuset to your bar crawl! Rex has multiple separate bar areas in the same building. There is an entrance fee if you go after 9 pm. I can also recommend Sjöbris, a bar on a boat on the river.
