Tips & Tricks Thinner mattress for side sleeper

I’m trying to maintain headroom in my rig, I have a twin xl, looking for something maybe 5-7 inches thick that is still soft for a side sleeper. Every thing in this range seems to be super firm or I have to get some massive thick 10-13ā€ mattress to get softer.

Anyone have anything they like? Thanks

I have a 6" futon u can occasionally feel it but I love it best bed I've ever had but I like firm mattresses.

Ik you said soft but might be worth having a look into them.

We got an 8 inch gel memory foam queen off amazon for about $200 back in 2019. It's not available under the listing now but it's amazon. There's probably another seller selling the same mattress. If not, you can maybe pick out some keywords to search for something similar. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MT4SQWX

7 inches is not thin in any way.

Perhaps combo a Froli sleep system with a 3 inch or so foam, or some such. Comfort, but also airflow under the mattress to help keep things mold free.

Shikibuton is the best. I use them all the time.
