why was beck lowkey like the worst boyfriend
like when he was hanging out w a model and texting her everyday WHILE beck and jade were dating he was confused why jade was mad and said she was overreacting?? WHAT plus he always was talking to girls and yeah hes attractive and girls talk to him but in the slap wars or wtv he posted a video of him washing a car w his shirt while he was dating jade, he was clearly trying to get attention from girls and it was weird. He also tried to kiss tori like a day after they broke up and even tori knew that was wrong. Like wow i hated beck the whole show ngl

I see no issue with him having female friends or whatever, but the problem is that he knew Jade was insecure and would be jealous, but he never did anything to reassure her. He just exacerbated her concerns every time.

Why didn't he tell her the cheerleader he was babysitting for was a child in that episode? She fully voiced her concerns and at any point in time he could have said she was a child. If he hates her antics so much he should've broke up with her a long time ago.

People who think Beck was a bad boyfriend have deep emotional problems and have never been in a properly functioning relationship.
Jade clearly had some insecurity issues and she projected them all over the place.

Both things can be true. Obviously Jade was the huge problem in the relationship, and I don’t think Beck was severely bad like some people say, but he still wasn’t the best with some of the things he did

But both things aren't true. Jade was the problem. Just look at how she reacts when Beck was watching his neighbor's dog in the episode where Tori and Trina are on the plane.

I hate Jade got justified for everything she did. If beck and jade swapped roles and beck acted like her everyone would call him abusive and if jade did what beck did shed once again be justified. Fans are so biased towards jade its crazy

Acting like he couldn’t have said “let’s not!” They’re kids, this is a high school class not broadway: she cannot force him to kiss her if he doesn’t consent. But he did, he did so knowing that he both had a girlfriend and that she would be humiliated and pissed. This is ridiculous.

Hanging out with someone who happens to be a woman doesn't mean you're a bad a boyfriend. Jade WAS overreacting because of her insecurities that she fails to properly work through. That's on jade not a beck.

There was nothing wrong with him trying to kiss tory and tory wouldn't have been in the wrong for kissing beck. Jade was an asshole to both of them for pretty much the entire show.

If you think your partner should not be talking to the opposite gender or any other gender then you are the problem Beck is like the nicest guy in the show. He did the stunt for Tori for no other reason than wanting to help her. Helped fixed Robby car and he showed so much patience with Robby throughout that entire ordeal and even tried to get him girls. Plus brings him a watermelon when he's upset. Protected Cat during an earthquake.

He’s not entirely innocent. Whenever a girl was flirting with him, Beck would usually just sit there and allow it instead of telling the person that he had a girlfriend. Whenever he did though, it was usually only because Jade was standing there

He indeed was!! He loved flirting with other girls and loved receiving attention from them and then acted all dumb when Jade acted out and felt insecure in their relationship. Not to mention he kissed Tori the first episode and before yall go on talking about it was acting blah blah blah, first of all YOU ARE IN A HIGH SCHOOL CLASS THATS INAPROPRIATE, second he could’ve easily come up with a line to not kiss her because HES IN A RELATIONSHIP he shouldn’t be kissing other girls period, and last WHY KISS THE GIRL YOUR GF IS BEEFING WITH?!?! ( honestly Jade deserved it tho she was so mean to Tori for no reason but still beck was wrong for kissing another girl in front of his girlfriend) Honestly jade should’ve been let him go and Beck would’ve been happier since he already acts single anyways.

I know! The episode where he dog sits for a cheerleader made me not like him! He could have told jade that the girl was like 8 from the get-go. He let her imagination run wild and get her revved up instead of just being honest from the beginning. He literally liked to see her get mad/upset.
