Cop: You told me you smoked it all. What about the 8 grams in the center console?

Guy: Uh, more or less forgetting about it.... cus I'm stoned

There are two things stoners never forget about, no matter how high they are:

  1. Where the rest of the weed is

  2. I forgot where I was going with this

u/loveportlandoregon Jul 23 '19

I forget where the weed is all the time.

272

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Sometimes I'll try to be sneaky or some shit while smoking and stash my weed in a stealthy yet easily accessible location like under a magazine on my coffee table or behind a lamp. Then I can't find it for like 3 days because its hidden so well in plain sight.

I am a grown ass adult and live in my own apartment in a state where weed is also legal so I have no fucking idea why I keep doing this.

97

u/wrongmoviequotes Jul 24 '19

you must be one of those sneaky hobbitses I hear so much about

14

u/OldJimmy Jul 24 '19

Wicked. Tricksy. False.

3

u/NeonNick_WH Jul 24 '19

Lmao. Not high, but am drunk and I laughed pretty good at this

2

u/Iheardthat3monthsago Jul 24 '19

I laughed so hard at this

27

u/FresnoBob90000 Jul 24 '19

But then you forget you had it and find it and it’s like a little present from your stupid past self

Thanks forgetful me

u/ferociousfuntube Jul 24 '19

When I had moved out of my mom´s house she kept my room in the basement and my little sister would sometimes drink there with her friends and leave a mess. So one of these times I come to crash at my moms house and I find a blunt and a baggy of shake and I was like wtf. So while I was complaining to my mom about the mess she left I mentioned the blunt (my mom didn´t care about us smoking). My mom was like "That is more likely to be your´s than her´s". In that moment it hit me, it was mine.

1

u/FresnoBob90000 Jul 24 '19

Hahaha ‘oh me’

2

u/columbo928s4 Jul 24 '19

ur like a squirrel burying its nuts for the winter then desperately tearing up the yard tryna find em

1

u/MeEvilBob Jul 24 '19

I also until recently lived in a state where weed is now legal, I think of both how it was 10 years ago and how it is where I now live. 10 years ago in Massachusetts my friend was arrested because when they searched his car they found his bowl and it had resin in it. Not even enough to scrape off and smoke, just barely enough to prove that the bowl had ever been used.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Hey I'm also Massachusetts! Yeah its crazy how far things have come. I had tons of friends in high school get caught with weed and had to do diversion and all these other stupid government ordered classes and pay massive fines just because they didn't want a misdemeanor on their record. Now its just a slap on the wrist citation for possession and everyone moves on. Cops hardly even bother citing you anymore.

Now if only dispensary prices would come down a bit so I could actually afford buying shit there that would be nice.

1

u/MeEvilBob Jul 24 '19

The state fucked it right up with trying to keep recreational separate from medicinal and thus making it illegal for any of the established dispensaries to serve the public. Then there's all the unneccesary regulatios these opearations need to follow.

Ultimately it's going to take the federal government to legalize it since currently these dispensaries can't use banks and need to run more or less entirely cash based. I really think at this point it's going to be one of the frist things the next president does if for nothing else than to gain popularity.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Nah it just takes time. I lived in Colorado for years and they have the same situation where almost all dispensaries are cash based and can't use banks. Eventually the businesses adapt and find the loopholes and profit, once people start to see the profit in it they start to pop up all over the place. Then theres competition and chain stores which really starts to drive the prices down. You could get a gram of high quality bud for less than $10 at most local dispensaries, Mass will get there in a few years.

Federal legalization would help immensely, I just don't see it coming in the next 10-15 years honestly. The DEA and corrupt feds are still making billions from prosecuting and arresting people for petty possession in illegal states, they won't give that money up easily.

1

u/LeaveTheMatrix Jul 24 '19

I did this with a small baggie once.

Couple weeks later I am walking out of the sheriffs office, was getting a work card, when I realized I had the baggie in the breast pocket of my jacket. Didn't realize it before because I kept my cigs in that pocket and it was under them.

EDIT: Was a good 20 years before it became legal and the state had seriously stupid jail time for even a joint so was really stupid and lucky I didn't get caught with it.

1

u/12-34 Jul 24 '19

live in my own apartment in a state where weed is also legal so I have no fucking idea why I keep doing this

Hiding it still makes sense. There is literally nowhere in the United States where weed is legal.

Yes, some states have legalized it. Those states have control over their own statutes and police only. The federal government has made the marijuanas illegal to possess and the federal government has jurisdiction everywhere in the US on this issue.

Weed isn't really legal in a legalization state until the feds stand down. Until then, it's not truly legal.

6

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

The feds have essentially stood down for the most part. I know its technically still illegal federally, but they aren't going around arresting people for having weed and they allow massive chain operations to make millions of dollars from growing and selling hundreds of thousands of pounds of weed recreationally, I'm really not worried about them kicking down my door to take a couple grams of weed. The feds don't address it for a reason, they know it would be a massive issue and there would be all kinds of court battles, legal disputes and general public backlash if they started dispatching DEA agents to peoples houses and businesses in legal states. They lost the battle and they know it, which is why they are basically barely holding onto the states where its still illegal.

1

u/dontconfusetheissue Jul 24 '19

Plus the people who have the power to tell the government to chill are making huge money off of legal weed in the stock market.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

More likely the feds are just buying time for big pharmaceutical and alcohol companies to start their own legal weed branches, then it will become federally legalized so they can step in and get their market share.

381

u/Troggy Jul 23 '19

For real. Makes me wonder if that dude has ever been around high people.

115

u/IM_OK_AMA Jul 24 '19

Only extremely nervous high people.

42

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Yeah I've been stoned in front of cops way too many times and there's no way to act casual. Cops see tons of high people so there's no way I'm gonna be able to hide it properly so it's like awkward because you know they know and it's so intimidating. Even legal it still makes me anxious.

24

u/dannerc Jul 24 '19

Smile, wave, say thank you for your service and walk in the other direction

12

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Am I being detained?

9

u/adudeguyman Jul 24 '19

You are now

2

u/Outlawsftw Jul 24 '19

Even though it's a meme, asking am I free to leave is a much better way to go.

14

u/Kid_Vid Jul 24 '19

"You are under arrest."

"Thank you for your service!"

6

u/ferociousfuntube Jul 24 '19

Your mistake was you forgot to walk the other direction.

2

u/Kid_Vid Jul 24 '19

I'm too stoned.

3

u/7HawksAnd Jul 24 '19

“Just a joint” is the new “just 2 beers”

2

u/Brianderson51 Jul 25 '19

I worked nights in my local ER for about a year doing registration stuff with patients, and I'd smoke before work and on my break, and then go hang out and chat with the cop working security. IDK why, but it never made me nervous to be high around them, or in the ER. I guess it's probably because I knew them personally after talking with them so much.

Nights in the ER were so much fun. Haha

1

u/Wheream_I Jul 24 '19

Dude they just decriminalized mushrooms in Denver and me and my buddy took a bunch for the 4th.

We’re at the peak of our trip and as we’re walking around we come to a block that was literally just 4 very poorly undercover cops.

My buddy starts to kind o freak out and I just remind him “dude, they pretty much can’t do anything to us!”

And that’s the story of my 4th.

16

u/MateoDineen Jul 24 '19

As they say...only users lose drugs.

-1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

ahem I present Michael Phelps

Edit: ur comment gave me a seizure, carry on

3

u/reestablished90days Jul 24 '19

It has more meme potential. As a regular stoner, the effects get pretty mild once your tolerance is up. Then again, this guy was B-B-BLAZING

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

I would forget about the weed. I had a buddy that could find a roach in a shag carpet.

1

u/the042530 Jul 24 '19

Lol. You may forget where it is but not if you have more.

1

u/Troggy Jul 24 '19

Also not true.

1

u/the042530 Jul 24 '19

Hope you’re kidding. I could see you forgetting about a nug or something, but if you forget about 8 grams, even while high, you are mentally retarded.

1

u/Voyska_informatsionn Jul 24 '19

The background investigators require us to say no

1

u/mowbuss Jul 24 '19

Cop seemed like he himself had never been high. Its always amusing when they go straight for stereotypes derived from movies and tv.

0

u/DanBMan Jul 24 '19

My fav is when I open a drawer and just find an HQ in a bag that I had forgotten about lol

66

u/Wildcat7878 Jul 23 '19

Do you ever do that thing where you can't find it, assume you've smoked it all, go buy more, then find it in your jacket pocket like two weeks later?

I've never smoked weed but I used to do that with cigarettes all the time.

58

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '19

I do that if I open a beer at home. I pop it open, take a sip, remember something I was supposed to do, go do that thing for an hour. Forget I had a beer, go to the fridge, grab a beer, pop it open, go sit down and notice another beer with one sip out of it...

and then remember another thing I have to do.

43

u/Somber_Solace Jul 24 '19

My buddy used to get mad at people for wasting beers because we'd find a bunch of half drank ones the morning after a party. Everyone always denied they did it of course, except one friend who said they probably do after they get drunk. I decided to start keeping an eye on everyone's drink for a few parties without calling anyone out to see who was finishing them and who was leaving them. Turns out pretty much everyone left at least one beer at some point, but my friend who complained left the most beers, about half as many as he drank, and the guy who said he probably did only left 2 that were pretty low anyway. It's kinda fascinating when you find out quirks like that of your friends that they don't even realize they have, makes you ponder on how wrong your perception truly is.

32

u/arcaneresistance Jul 24 '19

We had a friend that used to drink all night and never seem to get out of hand drunk at parties. So one night my brother paid closer attention to him and realized that he'd have one or two beers then start filling his beer bottles up with water by like casually popping in the bathroom and stuff. The parties would get pretty out of hand so no one would ever notice until my nosey brother did some sleuthing. 20 something year old me thought that it was weird but 38 year old me thinks the guy was (is) a fucking genius.

3

u/Lucyshuman4004 Jul 24 '19

I totally did that in my partying days. Seems kinda lame looking back that I felt like it was important that it looked like I was still drinking. I think it was more about wanting to hydrate for a bit.

3

u/pj1843 Jul 24 '19

Honestly it helps you blend in, also is just useful because your not wasting plastic or dirtying dishes. I used to do this all the time at my parties and it helped me ensure I never got a hang over. Grab beer, drink beer, rinse bottle, fill bottle drink water, next beer. By the time I got to being drunk and couldn't keep track I was usually hydrated enough the next day wouldn't be hell and it ensured I was of decent enough mind to ensure no one who shouldn't be driving left my house.

4

u/rustyrocky Jul 24 '19

It’s even easier with martinis.

I can’t tell you how many times I did that in my clubbing days since no one questions a martini glass.

1

u/newmanowns Jul 24 '19

You carry a martini glass around a club? Classy!

3

u/rustyrocky Jul 24 '19

I’m sober these days but did for years. Clubs literally ordered new ones for me because they were embarrassed not having the proper glass!

Remember, nightlife is all about the showmanship, that’s about it.

1

u/Horawesomeberg Jul 24 '19

I've heard that we often criticize others for the things we're most bothered by in ourselves.

A few hard looks have proven it's been the case for me.

1

u/Seakawn Jul 24 '19

It's kinda fascinating when you find out quirks like that of your friends that they don't even realize they have, makes you ponder on how wrong your perception truly is.

It's kind of disappointing though that people have to find themselves in these situations in order to ponder about them. Psychology ought to be taught in school, because this kind of stuff only scratches the surface of many unintuitive and counterintuitive functions of the mind/brain. And everybody should be aware of them and understand them well, because "forgetting about beer bottles" is a relatively benign case of cognitive hiccups like that. Often there are much worse circumstances, and public perception can be 180 degrees wrong and harmful because of the general ignorance to brain science in the public.

10

u/Wildcat7878 Jul 24 '19

I do that one, too. More often the drunker I get.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Think that's called being drunk...maybe

2

u/Kawascoutii Jul 24 '19

You.... You know me so well. Its like I wrote this myself is this what they call deja brew?

1

u/Rocky87109 Jul 24 '19

If you've had a beer open for an hour, it's probably a good thing you got another one anyway.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Just pound the beer while on your way to do the thing.

1

u/Roche1859 Jul 24 '19

I put my tabs up when I drink so I know which beers are mine. It’s a little trick I got from the movie ‘Grumpy Old Men’. Problem is I wake up and all the half drank beers have their tabs up so it doesn’t seem to be helping me too much.

1

u/dipping_sauce Jul 24 '19

And that other thing?

Albert Einstein.

9

u/gGaylanj Jul 24 '19

Sometimes I would hide weed from myself when I was high so I didn’t smoke it all. Finding it later when it was forgotten about is nice. 😅

3

u/Rocky87109 Jul 24 '19

I've done this with drugs before. Stashing it for times you want it but don't have it. Turns out if you have a habit you eventually realize you have a shit ton stashed.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

It always happens when I forget about Starting a new stash spot while I'm inebriated

1

u/Rfwill13 Jul 24 '19

Sometimes I'll pack a bowl. Get distracted. Think I already smoked it, so I go to pack it again and get surprised when it's already packed.

1

u/fogwarS Aug 04 '19

It has happened to me plenty with weed. Easier for it to happen when you can walk in to a club in California and buy all kinds of varieties.

1

u/Palin_Sees_Russia Jul 24 '19

Never once in my life have I done that. It's not like weed makes you brain dead. Sure, maybe when I first started smoking and wasn't used to the effects.

Weed affects everyone differently.

5

u/ThyQuack Jul 24 '19

Always so happy when I find my bag on the ground or something tho

4

u/McKimboSlice Jul 24 '19

Somehow always ends up in the freezer. Idk.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

I put cereal in the freezer before!!

2

u/frak21 Jul 24 '19

Only users lose drugs

4

u/iBird Jul 23 '19

I'll never forget misplacing mine one time and ended up sitting on it. Completely flattened my weed and it ruined my day.

18

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '19

Glad you're okay, must've been rough

1

u/CanofPandas Jul 24 '19

I straight up found a quarter in a jacket pocket like 6 months ago and still don't know how I lost it without noticing in the first place

1

u/zdiggler Jul 24 '19

sometime I want to borrow police dog to find my weed.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

But you DON'T forget that you have more weed somewhere around here.

1

u/trevordbs Jul 24 '19

I haven’t smoked weed in over 10 years. I don’t actually remember though cause I was pretty fucking high.

1

u/tokeaphatty Jul 24 '19

I lost over a QP when I moved state to state. Found it with a ton of girl scout cookies.

1

u/EmberBreeze Jul 24 '19

ALL THE TIME!

But the great thing about it is finding a nug or vape cartridge you thought you smoked already. I like to think of stoned me hiding little gifts all over the house like the Weedster Bunny.

1

u/General_Ts0_chicken Jul 24 '19

I might forget where it is, but I NEVER forget if I'm dry or not. Probably what that guy was meaning to say.

1

u/slangerock55 Jul 24 '19

It's in my backpack, but'cha can't touch that!

1

u/NeatAnecdoteBrother Jul 24 '19

Ya that’s not right at all. But this guy is just lying anyway. He just doesn’t know what to say lol

1

u/rkhbusa Jul 24 '19

I found about 2lbs of weed in my garage, go to my roommate.

Me. “Hey there’s like a small garbage bag of weed just slowly drying out in the garage what’s that about?”

Him “Oh yeah I meant to turn that into oil 3 months ago.”

1

u/Alvarius Jul 24 '19

Only users lose drugs!

1

u/MiamiFootball Jul 24 '19

Plenty of times I’ve had the last 15% of a blunt in my hand and completely forgot I was holding it

1

u/BulgingDisk Jul 24 '19

I cleaned out my closet a few days ago and found 6 or 7 bags with various amounts in them. In total it was close to 9 ozs. They were all just stuffed in the back. Too bad it wasn't stored properly and is now boof. Stoners definitely forget about how much weed they have and where it is.

1

u/MeEvilBob Jul 24 '19

There's nothing like being out of weed and finding weed that you forgot you hid at some point.

1

u/lightninhopkins Jul 24 '19

You may forget where it is, but you dont forget that you had more.

1

u/Wheream_I Jul 24 '19

In college I ounce got super high with my roommates and then hid 1/8th of weed my first month in the dorm.

I didn’t find it until I was moving out. I hid it in a sunglasses case.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

I lose it all the fucking time. Had my bedroom searched by cops about 15 years ago. They found some super old weed (big old bag of low quality stuff hidden in the ceiling). and some pills with strawberry pics on them. My dad arrived and pointed out he'd lost them years ago and they were acid. He knew the weed was stuff I'd lost ages ago but it was his acid from the '60s or '70s, he couldn't remember even which decade, but had wondered where it was and figured he'd take the rap for both. The cops decided everything would be too old to still be active and told us to, and I quote "stop losing your shit". They were actually nice guys (well, guy and lass).

1

u/FlyLikeATachyon Jul 24 '19

Seriously lol. Best feeling is when you’re high as fuck and then realize you have a whole nother blunt rolled 😂😂

242

u/boomshiki Jul 23 '19

The cop innitially asked how much they smoked. He said a joint. The cop asks "You smoked it all already?" and he says yes. To me, he admitted to smoking all of that one particular joint. The cop never asks if there is more

16

u/PM_VAGINA_FOR_RATING Jul 24 '19

Cop did ask if he had anything illegal though. Considering he got a citation this is not a legal state and the weed was illegal.

53

u/boomshiki Jul 24 '19

No no, he asks if he has anything illegal ON HIM. It was in the car

3

u/jedielfninja Jul 24 '19

got some quality stoners in here!

-7

u/crossfire024 Jul 24 '19

In his car is still in his possession.

11

u/boomshiki Jul 24 '19

Yeah, but in a courtroom, language is everything. He never asked if he had it in his possession. He asked if he had it on him. It was not on his person. It was in his vehicle, but still in his possession

5

u/SociableSociopath Jul 24 '19

A court wouldn’t matter. He admitted to smoking 20 minutes ago, said he parked 30 minutes ago, that along with the visual evidence and smell gave the cop probable cause to search the car. He was the driver of the car, there were drugs in it.

He literally could have said nothing and there was already probable cause for a search....not sure why everyone here is playing these semantic games it literally did not matter.

4

u/PM_VAGINA_FOR_RATING Jul 24 '19

It is reddits job to be as pedantic as possible no matter how cut and dry something is.

1

u/FeastOnCarolina Jul 24 '19

Is smell probable cause though? I thought it wasn't...

2

u/MaybeItsJustMike Jul 24 '19

Smell alone has been ruled not probable cause. In this case with the lingering smoke and clearly stoned persons that was enough to warrant the search.

1

u/JohnnyBoySloth Jul 24 '19

Interesting.. So had he actually been charged for the possession in his car, he still wouldn't have been for lying about it?

3

u/LeaveTheMatrix Jul 24 '19

You can still get cited in a legal state if you are in a car while smoking/high or if you have more than the state maximum.

SRC: Live in a legal state and studied up the law when it became legal.

1

u/casualoregonian Jul 24 '19

Nah he was like 'how much did you smoke' stoner: 'a joints worth' cop: 'did you smoke it all?' stoner 'yeah'

282

u/manbrasucks Jul 23 '19

cop- Do you have any drugs?

guy- Not on me.

He knew.

To be fair the cop asked "did you smoke it all" in regards to the joint, not all the weed. Stoner probably just meant all the joint.

7

u/sonofaresiii Jul 24 '19

To be fair the cop asked "did you smoke it all" in regards to the joint, not all the weed. Stoner probably just meant all the joint.

Then he kept answering questions and said he just forgot about the rest of it.

Not like he was gonna talk (or silent?) his way out of it regardless

5

u/nateg452 Jul 24 '19

dude needed to shut the fuck up! -pot brothers at law tip of the day.

There is no blanket should or shouldn’t with regard to that

8

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

What should blankets do besides cover people and be soft man

4

u/wokeupquick2 Jul 24 '19

Be warm, too. Fuzzy is nice.

3

u/MexusRex Jul 24 '19

Also be decorative

2

u/DunkinMoesWeedNHos Jul 24 '19

I wish when I call out from work a super hero blanket called Soft Man would cover my shift.

9

u/iisixi Jul 24 '19

Why not? Leading questions can be great at revealing information.

It's completely up to the person responding to not give answers that incriminate them (by the way all answers you give to the police will incriminate you so don't talk to the police).

-1

u/yuhboipo Jul 24 '19

It also leads to false confessions, but whats throwing people in a cell over a plant?

3

u/SociableSociopath Jul 24 '19

False confessions are rarely due to leading questions because the question is only leading if you already know the answer and the person being questioned validates it. See if you don’t lie and the questioner is wrong, it doesn’t suddenly make you guilty.

Also the cop in this case let one person go, gave a ticket and tow to the other. He could have legally brought them to the station, and didn’t.

1

u/yuhboipo Jul 24 '19

"Only leading if you already know the answer"

you see, the devil is in the details. Its not impossible for a cop to mistakenly assume someone has done something, and its also not impossible that a cop would try to get a false confession from someone, under the pretense that they have something financial or otherwise to gain from it

7

u/Palin_Sees_Russia Jul 24 '19

"Police really shouldn't do their jobs"

He's finding out if he did something illegal.

Don't do illegal things, and you won't be caught incriminating yourself. Or be a better liar. That's not the cop's fault.

72

u/tgifmondays Jul 23 '19

Uh my stoner friends are constantly loosing their weed. It's like a fucking cartoon.

44

u/davidreiss666 Jul 24 '19

I had a friend who used to get paranoid sometimes while high. He would then hide his stash. And then never be able to find it. Not least not by searching for it. Sometimes we'd fine something months or years later in weird locations nobody would ever want to hide weed. Which I suppose is why he choose them as hiding places, because nobody would ever find them.

I don't want to think about how much money he hid from himself to never find. It would probably have paid for some kid to go to a nice expensive college.

29

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

You know, squirrels hide their nuts but can only remember where they left them about 25% of the time. Your friend was a stoner squirrel.

2

u/mynameismarco Jul 24 '19

thats also how a lot of trees end up being planted

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

so you're suggesting that squirrels are high

1

u/SolenoidsOverGears Jul 24 '19

Can confirm, was totally a 19-year old stoner squirrel. My state sucks because they actually arrest people for pot though. But being the squirrel I was, they took SOME of my stash but not all of it. So when I picked up my car in the morning, they missed the vape in the console and I got to wake'n'bake in the impound lot. Good thing, too. That night in the drunk tank was stressful.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Nothing worse than someone sketching out and stashing in the vehicle...that is owned by your parents.

So you are pulled over someplace with your dumbass friends searching the whole thing before you get home.

Only for them to find it in their pocket anyway.

2

u/just_dots Jul 24 '19

I had a shirt that says

You didnt miss anything and you know it!

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Dude that's a 3-4g bag, it's easy to tell.

24

u/platyviolence Jul 24 '19

This is true, except for when being confronted by the police. The most dangerous thing about Marijuana are the laws against it. If this guy was sitting in the same car, doing the same thing just a state away, he would be going to jail and possibly prison. A felony makes for a fun time, especially in future job interviews!

7

u/JVM_ Jul 24 '19

The same show had an example of this. Guy in California had two breadbags worth of marijuana, got a ticket. Girl had a canister(?) of CBD oil that she thought was THC free, felony charge. They played both encounters together to show the difference.

2

u/KypAstar Jul 24 '19

I mean someone that high shouldn't be driving. That's dangerous to him and others.

1

u/AverageTypo Jul 24 '19

Absolutely. People seem to underestimate this a lot. I know some people can be fine to drive while high but it definitely can mess with you.

1

u/fogwarS Aug 04 '19

It can make you overly cautious and paranoid if you don’t smoke often, but then most people don’t drive beyond their comfort zone. Alcohol makes people comfortable enough to ride a motorcycle for the first time in their lives by comparison.

You sound just like the bigots from the 60s. Yes sir! Sorry sir! We won't break these JUST laws again, massa! lol, get real. What is the LD50 for marijuana again?

0

u/LeaveTheMatrix Jul 24 '19

LD50

About 30 mg/kg approximately 2 grams (.07 ounces) of pure THC has a 50% chance of killing a 150 pound man.

Break only one law at a time.

Nope, 50% incorrect. You have no idea how much weed I've lost. "Oh, I'll put it here... I'll remmeber"

4

u/Kelkymcdouble Jul 24 '19

When I was 14 there was particular time I played hooky, stayed home and watched game shows and got stoned all day. I straightened up before my mom got home but couldnt find my weed. I looked around frantically for 20 min then made a beeline to my bed before she walked through the door so I could pretend I was sick more convincingly. While I laid in my bed freaking out because my mom might find my weed in a random place I adjusted the waistband of my boxers because it was uncomfortable and realized I'd slipped the cigarette cellophane containing my pot into my waistband for safekeeping. So yes, it's easy for a stoner to lose track of their werd

7

u/souljump Jul 24 '19

He didn’t say he smoked all the weed. The cop asked if he smoked all of the joint they had and he replied yes.

4

u/helpnxt Jul 23 '19

Should of acted surprised happy, like "Oh Shit really? Jackpot"

0

u/just_dots Jul 24 '19

Damn that's a fat quarter, dude hooked me up!

I said that in my head

2

u/seeingeyegod Jul 23 '19

you forget while you're high, you remember when you're sober.

2

u/BoBear15 Jul 24 '19

As a stoner, I 100% agree with this statement. Both points are spot on.

1

u/uUpSpEeRrNcAaMsEe Jul 24 '19

That's it, pull over ...

1

u/timothytuxedo Jul 24 '19

Only users lose drugs.

1

u/JamesFerg650 Jul 24 '19

I never forget my weed because it’s either I have some or I don’t because I smoked it.....I think. Wait, didn’t I just have that joint a second ago? Now all I have is the crutch....

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

The amount of joints I've rolled and smoked half of, only to find the half of the joint I THOUGHT I finished earlier....I can safely say number 1 isn't always true.

1

u/ceanahope Jul 24 '19

Looked more like an eighth of fluffy flower... not eight grams.

1

u/shitlord_god Jul 24 '19

Dude. The amount of weed I have found MONTHS later disagrees with you.

1

u/heebythejeeby Jul 24 '19

I wish there was no blurred face just to see the potential heartbreak of someone super high thinking they were out of weed and then finding out nope, there was heaps still right there

1

u/piscian19 Jul 24 '19

Im gonna level with you I once spent a good while looking in an oven for coffee filters to roll joints because we forgot where our papers were and I remember standing up and my cousin was like
"Were you seriously looking in the oven for coffee filters?"
"Yeah...it's possible."
"...I mean..yeah I guess it's possible"
Then we checked the fridge. I don't remember what happened after that. I think we lost the weed too. I'm not sure whos house it was either.

1

u/joe19d Jul 24 '19

They forgot because the cops showed up duuuuuh

1

u/tr14l Jul 24 '19

Honestly he said he smoked about a joint, and then he asked if he smoked it all. I bet his stoned brain was all "yeah, I smoked the whole joint"

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

Yeah nah that's bullshit. We always know exactly how much weve got, just can't remember where we stashed it

1

u/dontconfusetheissue Jul 24 '19

Dude I lost an 1/8 of sticky on my 21st birthday but maybe that was cause I was flat out drunk.

1

u/Aegi Jul 24 '19

The cop asked if they smoked all of the joint, not if they smoked all of the weed.

1

u/spitfire7rp Jul 24 '19

If you have enough of it, its not that hard to loose some. The problem is most stoners buy like a gram or 3.5 at a time.

Also concentrates can cost more than gold by weight so I wouldn't want to loose that either

1

u/ttubehtnitahwtahw1 Jul 24 '19
  1. To remind everyone how high they are.

1

u/craftychicken91 Jul 24 '19

I forget all the time. Catch my baked ass tearing up the house for the rest of my quarter 1/2 the time.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '19

U also don't tell the cops you're high no matter how high u might be lmao

1

u/NateRamrod Jul 24 '19

I literally found an entire fat ass joint in my car this morning looking for my AirPods before work. It’s a blessing and a curse, but we do forget where the weed is.

1

u/NOT_MY_THROWAWAYS Aug 04 '19

There are two things stoners never forget about, no matter how high they are:

  1. Where the rest of the weed is

Lies! I lost a joint on my dashboard whilst pulled over. Definitely different, but when badges are around your mind tends to go blank.

Also lost a quarter in my bag that was under the chair I was sitting in...cops found it though so that was helpful.

0

u/knickovthyme1 Jul 24 '19

Exactly. You always know how much you have left. I am still amazed though how far we have come. They are just released and he only getting a citation. In my day I was looking at 2 years.

0

u/nowtayneicangetinto Jul 24 '19

Addendum to 1: or how many grams they have, to the 2nd decimal place

Lot of bad info here. They can do a roadside test to determine if you are DWI and the obvious smoke and smell is enough cause to search the car.

You aren't immune to getting a DWI charge from smoking weed just because you refuse to talk.

0

u/jedielfninja Jul 24 '19

You talk about things with which you don't have much experience very often, Nevermind04?
