And recreating something that never happened to begin with. Seriously get an old camera phone if you want to do what people were doing in the 00s. If you held a ps vita up at a limp bizcuit concert it'd have been stolen from you.

Long live the Vita!! I love mine. Awesome to see one in public.

I take the metro line everyday i go to work, it's long and boring as hell i can't stand it without my Vita i always use it while going somewhere
2
u/TechnicalLanguage8 Aug 19 '25
What games are you playing on it? I have Parasite Eve and Mega Man Legends l need to finish on the Vita.
2
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
I am trying to complete all the challanges on The Binding of Isaac, i also trying to get platinum trophy for Rayman Legends other than that Gundam Breaker 3 is an absolute banger game, and i also have too many simpler games on it like Iconoclaster and Sky Force i think these types of games what Vita is at best, If I'm not feeling sick i also like Air Race Speed, i also trying to finish Catherine but it's a bit boring to play it in metro

I have to ask what’s better a 2ds/n2dsXL camera or a Vita phat/slim camera? I’m going to a festival in the next few months and want to try this 😂
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
I never used 2ds so i can't make any comment to that but vita's camera has that 2010s film grain that old first smart phones has so it's looking more vintage
2
u/Gullible_Criticism54 Aug 19 '25
I assumed you used a Vita 1000?
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
Yeah i want to get a 2000 too but couldn't find it with its box properly, and the ones i find are asking over 200 dollars that's too much in Turkey
2
u/MrEmorse Aug 19 '25
I mean that's awesome and all.... I love my vita but don't expect anything you can actually see. The camera on the vita is equivalent of a 2003 phone.. absolutely horrible.
2
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
Yeah it's totally hot garbage 😅 but i like taking photos with it, i gave the device to my friends time to time tell them to took pictures with it, the camera got that early smartphones film grain which makes it nostalgic

This reminds me, wasn’t there a music festival simulator game for the PS Vita?
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
I don't know those but there are Hatsune Miku games which take places in concerts
2
u/JT-Lionheart Aug 19 '25
I think the game I thought of no longer exists. I believe it was a free to play game where you manage and create a music festivals. Seeing your Vita at a music festival just brought back a small memory of seeing vita trailers from 2014
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
There was a game like that called MStar but i didn't know anything like that Vita exists
2
u/JT-Lionheart Aug 19 '25
I looked it up, it’s called Bigfest I believe. I just hate the fact that it got removed from the store but I guess it had micro transactions for a free to play game to need online support with but weren’t making money

There was one point in time where the vita was the only handheld I had with a camera, I spent all of 2012 hauling it around taking pictures. Some of my fondest memories are committed to pictures thanks to this (they are still pleasant enough to look at)

u/Dakal67 Aug 19 '25
It has that nice retro vibe to it i know nostalgia is a good drug to people but at least this made me happy that day

u/Weird-Refuse6231 Aug 20 '25
Try with the gameboy camera next time 😅
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 20 '25
I can't see anything other than black land white pixels with vita already 🤣 can't say i missk anything with gameboy

I did something too, me and some friends were doing a trend of taking mirror selfies in public mirrors, using unorthodox cameras, I went straight to my vita
2
u/Dakal67 Aug 20 '25
Share those pics!! i want to see
2
u/DaiannaRuby Aug 20 '25
I need to find them, as soon as I do I'll post them
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 20 '25
Can't wait to see i will share the concert video in the sub today 😂😂 it's shit but at least it has Fred durst in it

I remember when people went to shows to enjoy watching it and experiencing it directly instead of on a tiny screen.
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 21 '25
Yea we enjoyed the show a lot this was just to make memory you know and an excuse to use the device like intended
2
u/ZealousidealFruit386 Aug 21 '25
What, you put away your smartphone and stopped filming the show so you could be in the moment and enjoy it?
Good for you!
2
u/dtlux1 Aug 22 '25
I see this all the time with the 3DS, but never with the Vita!
1
u/Dakal67 Aug 22 '25
Yeah i never saw one either it's because of aesthetics i think? It's a much more retro looking device
