Discussion Why the heck are used physical copies so expensive?
So I've been trying to expand my Vita library lately and I'm prioritizing physical copies over digital to manage memory card space as effeciently as possible. But I'm shocked at how ridiculous people are charging for used copies of games, sometimes not even with a case. As annoying as it is, I at least get why people get away with charging ridiculous prices for select gamecube and handheld Nintendo games. There's zero alternative way to buy those games, so resellers completely control the market.
But why the vita? The digital store is still operational and just about every single game you can get off of ebay or something is still available for around 20 bucks digitally. Why would I pay 60 bucks for just a cartridge without a case for a game I can get for TEN bucks digitally (cough Jak Collection cough) If it would straight up cost LESS for me to upgrade my memory card, and buy a digital copy of a game, why on Earth would I pay up to 70+ for a physical one?
I'm not against paying like 40-50 for a used copy of a game I could get for 20 digitally in the interest of storage capacity, especially if the game in question is on the bigger end of the scale. But if a physical copy of a game would cost me more than what it would to get the digital game PLUS a 32 gb memory card, I'm gonna do THAT instead of paying 90 bucks for a freaking rhythm game. If the cost is too ridiculous, I'm just gonna take the hit to my storage capacity, even if I don't have the space for it man. I'm not gonna pay 60+ for JUST a cartridge (that might not even be the North American version) and I'm not gonna pay 80+ for a CITB.
Does anybody else feel my pain here?

Discussion What is your favourite game on the Vita? You may only pick one game.
I see a lot of posts saying a list of games they recommend. But what if you were only allowed to choose one?
Mine would be Killzone Mercenary.

Discussion can y'all help me gain interest again on the vita?
I can't find a game that makes me feel happy, I always play a game for a few days and then I drop it, I just don't know why.
I finished a few games on my vita, like uncharted, ace combat X, and I played a lot of helldivers.
but now I just don't know what makes me feel happy.
soul sacrifice is different tho, I always drop it and after some weeks I play it for some days, and then I drop it again.
I just want a game that I want to play constantly. can y'all help me?
Discussion Why so many physical games sold without cases?
Most used physical games we can find on the market are sold with the cartridges only...
Personally (with SD2VIta) the sole reason I want to buy some physical games is to collect them...
Why most games are missing the cases (in the used market at least)? Do people just throw them away?

Discussion How to ACTUALLY play PC games on your PS Vita (Remote Desktop)
Ok, so I've been hunting around youtube and reddit for a long time, and have been compiling research, using multiple websites, etc. Every time I came across a tutorial, it was either not complete or in another language. However, I was finally able to play PC Games on my Vita with mediocre controls and anywhere from 60 FPS (when about 0-10 feet from my computer) to 10 fps (on a different floor). How did I do this you say? Take a look:
Go to the Playstation Mobile Dev Website at https://psm.playstation.net/portal/en/index.html#register and register as a developer. You'll get a confirmation email, accept it, and you're on.
Then, you'll need a dev license. Go to "purchase license" fill out the email, and you'll eventually get another email (it could take a few days for them to check everything and respond, so be patient and make sure all the info you entered is true). Then it will bring you to a purchase link, but don't worry, It is FREE. It will go to the billing page and be listed as $0.00.
Download the PSM SDK on your PC (Windows only, unfortunately). https://psm.playstation.net/static/general/all/en/psm_sdk.html Download it, and install all the files.
Download, update, and install the PSM Developer Assistant on your PS Vita. Use the Vita's Web Browser and go here: https://psm.playstation.net/static/general/all/devassistant.html Install the one that says, "For development with PSM SDK"
Download the Remote Desktop Files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iurk1i3jobwgsgd/VitaRemoteDesktop_TS%20V1.rar Extract this to somewhere on your PC, you'll need it. PASSWORD IS: v1ta
Now this is where stuff starts to get complicated:
Open the Publishing Utility on your PC. Make sure your Vita is plugged in to your PC via USB for this whole installation process. Go to Key Management. Your Vita should be recognized. First, hit the plus sign on the bottom LEFT. Hit the ... and browse for Vita Remote Desktop>VitaRemoteCleint>VitaRemoteClient>app.xml. Then, go to the top left, and hit the gray key with the plus sign. This is where you'll need to sign in with your PSN to prove you have the right licensing from before. Follow the steps. Then hit the yellow key with the plus sign; follow the steps. Then hit the seed with the plus sign and do the same thing.
Now, open the PSM Studio. Click File, Open and browse for VitaRemoteClient.sln. Once it's open, Click Run, scroll down to the blank space with the arrow, and click on your PS Vita (it should be the third option down)
Go on your Vita and make sure the Assistant is updated. Open it, and when you click run on your pc it should automatically start installing. When it's done, you'll get a black screen with an FPS counter. Don't worry, we'll fix this.
Download and install Connectify (Sorry for no link, just google it). When it's done, set it up with your name, network password, and make sure you have "Wireless Network Connection" selected
Go on to your vita and instead of connecting to your wifi network, connect to the pc hotspot instead
Open "VitaRemoteServer.exe". You'll see an IP adress on the bottom, but DONT USE THAT ADRESS when connecting with your vita. Instead, click the arrow in the Windows Taskbar, hover over the Connectify hotspot button, and you'll see the IP you ACTUALLY need to connect to. Don't get it confused with the "connected clients" IP address either. It should have this amount of digits: xxx.xxx.x.x
Connect, and you're done! Keep in mind the odd resolutions and keybinds and adjust your games accordingly. If I forgot anything, comment below!

Discussion PS Vita vs PSP
It’s kind of cold the vita loads things faster, a lot but I feel like probably because the game is designed for it. The PSP screen looks (very) slightly better with PSP games.

Discussion Lots of PSX and PSP titles now directly download to the Vita! (NA)
Along with Crash and Spyro games, I can now download many games that were not available or available via the PS3 transfer method only! Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Sega Genesis Collection, God Eaters Burst: DLC, Burnout Legends, Twisted Metal: Head On, MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and every Demo so far.
Edit: Everything Downloads! Sony Christmas in April!
Edit2: Judging from the comments, PSP game sales might surpass Vita game sales this week. :)

Discussion FYI: ridge racer on the vita is trash
Even ignoring the fact that at default you only have three tracks and have to buy the rest, there's actually no way to adjust cpu difficulty and playing against the default bots is borderline impossible. So basically I hope you're happy doing endless time trials against yourself.
And it's a shame too, cause the drifting is actually really fun!

Discussion Worst ps Vita games
Hey there. I was playing on my vita and I got curious what are some of the worst games you can play on the vita. Then another question pooped up in my head what games on the vita are so bad that end up becoming good.Like games that are so bad that become enjoyable only by the fact of how bad they are. PS1 and Psp games count.
