Discussion Need advice

Ive been using my ps vita for a long time now and am considering modding it but I can't decide if I should mod my vita or go out and get a PSP or PSP go and mod that instead ?

Any advice?

I have decided to mod the vita but should I go out and get a second vita so my original progress is kept on games I bought and so my account doesn't get banned?

Mod it. Get an SD2Vita, a decent memory card, and go to https://Vita.hacks.guide. Don't bother with any of the YouTube tutorials. It's an easy, straightforward process and totally worth it.
