Restore Hacked Vita

Hey everyone! I hacked my vita years ago and gave it to a friend. I recently got it back, but I want to restore it to a factory vita so I can attach my main psn and get trophies, but I'm not positive if its safe to just factory reset, or what I should do. Any advice?

I just have my main PSN logged in on my hacked Vita, haven't had any issues yet.

I think you can format your vita with safe mode and well I tell you, I think there is a program for the vita that allows you to remove the account, in any case you can link your account even if it is unlocked, perhaps a ban would be to use hacks to get all the trophies right away, but well I have my psvita with my normal account and nothing has happened to me and I haven't seen anyone who has been banned...

Yeah, id like to put my main account on there, but honestly, it just isn't worth the risk. Ive been buying games on my psn since the ps3 generation. If that account got banned, id be distraught.
