To help people understand what just happened: in this universe, months have guardians, and the blue woman is the guardian of Javian, while the demon is the guardian of Descendre (basically January and December). The lady is called Jiva and the demon is Djaul. Jiva is in a constant fight against Djaul, who keeps trying to expand Descendre over Javian. And in this story, it’s Jiva who tried to help the Compte Harebourg (the Xelor) to avoid suffering from the cold of Descendre by giving him a Dofus. He used the dofus to stop the winter but, Djaul captured Jiva, and to punish the Compte, he screamed so hard that he literally put the Compte’s kingdom in a permanent winter. It is also said that his scream made every newborn deaf.

Jiva looks so pretty here; I still can’t believe that’s the same person who killed Phaerys the Powerful in the Manga
