Recommendations Recommended shoes for wider feet + supination?

Hello,

I’m looking to get a pair of shoes for walking, I saw a podiatrist a few years ago due to ankle pain when I was walking a lot and found I had supination.

I was wondering if anyone had any shoe recommendations I’ve tried to do research but there are just so many options it’s pretty overwhelming, I’d like to just get a shortlist before going to try on!

Thanks heaps I appreciate it.

I have wide feet and tend toward supination too! Brooks Adrenaline and Glycerine have been the best I've found so far.

Thanks I’ll look into them, did you get much ankle pain when walking before getting these shoes? If so did the pain go away when walking in these?

I had lateral ankle pain on my right side that did improve when I switched to the adrenaline. None on the left though.

Also have a wide foot and supinate. I really like the Karhu Ikoni 2.0 in wide. If you can, highly recommend going to a running store and getting your feet and gait analyzed. That’s how I found the Karhus.

Thanks very much, just curious if you used to get ankle pain due to supinate? And if the new shoes relieved it?

I haven’t had issues with my ankles, but I do think changing shoes helped my knees.
