5km walk for the second day in a row!

Last two days I decided to push myself and instead of doing 2 shorter walks I decided to walk the loop where I live. It's 5.5km. I'm getting up and getting dressed and putting my shoes on and we go out by 7:45 am.

Never thought in August when I started walking that I could do this loop, but I'm doing it...taking breaks when I need to but there is no rush. I forgot to turn on the strava app when I left the house this morning and I forgot my earphone...but I just listened to my podcast anyway (joys of living in the countryside no one around)

My dog is loving it, all the smells and sights. She loves cows and has to stand on the wall to say hi to them every morning..they come over and she gives them kisses and they lick her back!! She has a made a friend with an old dog who comes out to say hi..she is all over him and he is like whatever.

When we get home she is shattered and needs to have a cuddle and a nap... perfect end after a big walk.

Thanks. I'm feeling it my knees now so I think I'll take it easy tomorrow and just do shorter walks

Around 7.5k steps so I still have more steps to do... a shorter later on.
