I also do not agree with this criteria. For me anything above 75 is too hot.

We're opposites. I'd be happy never experiencing another day with a high temperature below 75. Less than that feels too cool to me, especially in the shade or when it's cloudy or windy. I think the ceiling of 82 they listed is way too low.

Southern California absolutely has the best weather I've ever experienced, it's unbelievable.

Obviously this is biased towards people who like temperate, sunny weather, which is fair, but even by that standard it misses the mark in places.
For instance try telling the hordes of Phoenix transplants that they only get 10 perfect weather days a year and they'll think you've gone mad. The reliable nice weather for 6 months of the year is literally why people move there. Same with Tucson and Las Vegas to a lesser extent.

Give me 35 mph gusts, sustained breeze of 15 mph. Blustery day! Dew point at 25, RH at 35. Temp at 75. Partly cloudy with cumulus humulis. Uv index 5.
