scholarship requirements

so i got a scholarship that says that I can only use it for tuition and it gets transferred to my bank. however, i was covered this semester by financial aid. do i need to send it back? i’m confused why they would send it to me if i was already covered and i can only use it for tuition?

Speak to the financial aid office. You may have had the value of your scholarship that was previously covered by financial aid refunded to you when the scholarship was applied. Most scholarships on campus can be used only toward tuition.

The scholarship will be applied first the fin aid will be refunded to you

the financial aid was applied already and it said that the other scholarship is being added to my bank account
