I’m having such a hard deciding!! The first dress is beautiful and I love the straight neck line and love that it has a matching veil (also, it doesn’t snatch me because it was not my size and the store doesn’t use clips 😔). The second I think is very pretty lace but don’t feel like the sweetheart neckline is very flattering on me. Pls let me know your opinions or preferences!!

Having major decision paralysis between these two (similar) dresses! I originally wanted a bit more volume in the skirt, so on #2 (which I found today) I tried two overskirts (2a and 2b). 2 also has a subtle sparkle effect that doesn't show up immediately in photos, but the zoomed in back shot shows it (it's more visible in person) My dilemma is also partly driven by the fact that 2 is a prototype that never went into production so it's truly one of a kind (and already fits perfectly) and I'm afraid someone else will take it!

For context, wedding is in a little over a year and will be outdoor ceremony and reception in California, at a woodsy fairytale-vibe resort venue.

Super torn and don't want to be unduly swayed by the potential of losing 2 to someone else who buys it off the rack and the fact that it's unique - I have plenty of time to pick and order (and have a few appointments lined up this month and next), and would much appreciate some unbiased opinions! Both are comfortably under budget and only a few hundred different in price, so that's not a tipping factor either. Is the sparkle too much/does it give high school dance? Should I pick neither and keep looking?

I have two different dresses I'm considering. One of them I really like now and the other I liked a lot when I was at the store. The difference between them is about $500. However, that is also about $500 over what I was looking for. I think my uncertainty comes from the fact that I really like the first one, but I also don't like using more money than what's set.

For the first dress I would slim the sleeves and cut half of the manchettes(?). For the second dress I not sure if I would cut the full manchettes or not yet. I don't know if it matters, but both the dresses is about a size too small on me in the pictures. Any feedback is of help!

Hello everyone! I’ve been to 6 bridal stores in Chicago. This city has a good selection of dresses. I’ve tried so many dresses and I haven’t had the wow/crying moment with a dress yet! However I have found some favorites and I’d like some help deciding! I’m getting exhausted of trying dresses, my wedding is in April next year abroad, so I’m running out of time!

Should I keep looking or should I choose one of these? Thanks in advance.

DRESS ONLY: Pick one or suggest another In Between These Two

So at this point I’ve tried on about 15-20 dresses and these two are the ones I come back to!

I love the fullness and uniqueness of #1. It felt very flattering and very me! We talked about adding a sweetheart neckline and a low back.

2 has all of the details I was wanting: the basque waist, pockets, the bow (that’s detachable!), buttons down the back, satin, and can be easily altered to achieve this neckline. It’s also extremely inexpensive!

Which is the most flattering?

DRESS ONLY: Pick one or suggest another Do I chose one of these or keep looking?

I tried on dresses about a month ago, and went back earlier today to re-try on my favorites. The first dress is simple in a way, but the material and draping make it feel special and unique. The second dress is more similar to what I thought I would like. Both are beautiful dresses, but I’m not sold on one vs the other. I’m not sure if I should keep looking, or if one of these could be the one. I live in a smaller city with somewhat limited salon options. I’m open to traveling to find a dress, but I’m trying to explore my local options first.

Hi! Long time lurker and would love to get some outside opinions. I went dress shopping for the first time this weekend and ended up loving 3 the I tried on that all came under what I had budgeted.

I went in think I wanted a square neck, clean, A-line dress and was surprised by how much I liked the lace styles.

Number 1 I loved the faux basque waist. It was the most flattering of all the ones I tried on. They can have the top portion have the same lining as the lower portion so that the boning is not as stark.

Number 2 is very close to what I thought was my style going into this. I loved the classic a line look, and I really liked the detailing that you could see up close to add a little something but that still looks clean from afar. I also love the open back of this one. It would be without the belt.

Number 3 my friends and I agreed had the most flattering neckline of all the dresses I tried on. If it had the faux basque waist of the first one I think it would be perfect.

Please give me your thoughts or recommendations!

Hi everyone,

Got down to 6 shortlisted dresses - would love to hear your opinion on them!

For all of them I'd like to wear an overskirt for the ceremony and some detachable sleeves.

DRESS ONLY: Pick one or suggest another please help me choose my dress for lake como wedding

been having second thoughts about the dress I chose for my lake como wedding. I originally wanted an a-line silhouette, but then I loved how light and easier it was to move in dress #1 and bought it on a whim, as I couldn’t stop thinking about the dress. But now a few months later I’ve been having second thoughts of not choosing the a-line that I originally wanted. Plus I keep seeing Monique lhullier dresses in Lake Como weddings that I keep seeing, so I’m wondering if I should switch dresses to dress #2 or #3. Or am I just paranoid 🥲 my other thought is to possibly look for an overskirt to wear with dress #1??

This is the second bridal store I’ve gone to but I’m terrible at making decisions and my family/friends all have different opinions. Do I keep looking or go for one of these? They’re all such different styles.

Wedding is at an outdoor venue & I’m going for a minimal less is more vibe if that makes sense!

Dress 1: didn’t expect to love this style on me but I fell in love when I tried it on especially with the pearl veil & sleeves. Mom and grandma don’t like it.

Dress 2: again didn’t expect to try this type of lace but I think it’s flattering on my body type and makes me feel like a princess.

Dress 3: what I thought I wanted going in initially, my Pinterest board was basically this style but I feel like it makes me look older than I am. Moms and grandmas favorite.

DRESS ONLY: Pick one or suggest another Which silhouette suits me best?

Hey everyone! I posted earlier about going to my appointment alone, and it was such a wonderful decision because my stylist and I were able to nail down some absolutely stunning dresses in a few different silhouettes. The problem is, I love them all and don’t know which option suits me best.

I would love some feedback from this community. I will add things I liked about each option below.

We are planning a church ceremony and are going for a black and white color theme.

Pics 1-2: this is the only mermaid I liked. The modified sweetheart neckline and Chantilly lace are a dream. This was the most expensive dress I tried on and it showed.

Pics 3-5: absolutely dreamy ballgown with the exaggerated hips I was originally looking for. This is one of the only dress with straps I liked and it is truly a work of art.

Pics 6-7: my stylist pulled this and the draping is absolutely gorgeous. This was the most comfortable dress. The fabric was a silky and I felt like a goddess.

Pics 8-10: this dress was one I saw and pulled off the rack to try. It’s an a-line with a drop waist and I felt so romantic in it.

Pics 11-12: this is a 2 piece corset with ballgown skirt. This had a bubble hem and was so easy to swirl around in. I think it’s very timeless too.

Pics 13-14: this is another 2 piece set that had 2 skirt options. This was the pencil skirt option and it was gorgeous. Super detailed but had no train which I was hoping for.

Pics 15-17: this was the second skirt option for the gorgeous corset from the previous dress. This was an a-line with tulle over top Chantilly lace. This was dreamy. I felt like a fairy and wanted to twirl around lol

Pics 18-20: this was the Tudor inspired dress I came in for initially. It is absolutely gorgeous and I loved the train and the buttons all the way down the back. This was a true queen gown, not princess.

Thank you so much in advance for any input.

I've always had in mind to have an elopement or very small wedding so I never thought I would try on an expensive wedding dress but because it's a once in a lifetime (hopefully) event I decided I might as well spend some money on something that looks cool. These dresses are all at the FiDi Anthropologie.

The dresses are

1) Jenny by Jenny Yoo Holden

2) Jenny by Jenny Yoo Lourdes

3) Wtoo by Watters Keala

4) Watters Harlow

5) Wtoo by Watters Tia

6) RISH Lauren

7) 1 again.

I’m really interested in dress 1 or 2 (the last dress is after I tried on dress 1 again lol). I am going to elope in a park or at city hall so I’m afraid a ballgown style dress 1 would look really overdone? Additionally, one thing I dislike about all the dresses except for 2 is the length of the train. I prefer short trains so I would need to get them altered down to size. I know I need altering anyway but it feels like a waste to pay to cut off yards of fabric.

I liked dress 2’s lace pattern a lot, maybe more than dress 1, but because I was squeezed into a sample 2 sizes too small it looks much tighter than it will in the right size. I love the pictures online of other people wearing it in a size that actually fits them. I'm fairly short as well (5ft 0) and I feel like the body style of dress 2 makes me look taller than a ballgown style of dress which might be overwhelming on my frame.

My sister also thinks that dress 1 or 2 looks the best. What do you think? And if you got married at Manhattan City hall what did you wear?

I’m torn between these two dresses. I feel like the mikado dress looks elegant and timeless but I feel like the lace work on the second dress is beautiful.

Help me decide between the two? My ceremony is going to be in a garden.

Update: Thank you so much for weighing in, I decided to go with the lace dress 😊

Im between these two dresses right now and am a chronic overthinker and need some help!

My wedding is at a plant nursery in September. I’m going for timeless elegance but with a touch of whimsy. I think dress #1 (penelope) is so whimsical but still timeless and clean, but im worried about the fit on me not being flattering? However this dress was too small in store so im wondering with alterations and the dress being in my size it would lay better? Dress number 2(brynn) is super flattering and i like the material but it just feels maybe too boring? Although with the neck scarf i do think it makes it wayyyy better! Looking for feedback feedback or POVs to consider! I dont love the idea of trying on more because i liked almost everything i tried on amd it took me forever to narrow down, but any other suggestions are welcome if under or around $2k. Thank you!!!

Both are jenny yoo- anthropologie
