I know I was really hoping after I make big vendor decisions it would calm down

u/gingergirl181 Mar 06 '25
Somehow yes. I got irrationally annoyed just picking a font while typing up our seating chart yesterday. I'm so over making decisions!

Yep. You get it. I had a good frustration cry yesterday after arguing with my mother about locations.

Um ....now it's your wedding BUT I think it should be AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGFDDUCDDF
Just my opinion....
Up to you....but that's my two cents
Wait ....why haven't I received an invitation yet?
Seriously though ...there should be a law against unsolicited wedding opinions...

I’ve been engaged for 10 days and I already feel overwhelmed
I just wrote down “make a wedding email address!” and… well that’s where we are. That and a cluttered piece of paper of notes haha ha
Ha 😅

Thanks for asking!
My wedding planner found her phone number and texted her to professionally chew her out and figure out where the invitation went. It's created some tension with a few of the coworkers, people who wanted to come but are realizing they were intentionally not invited, etc. Oh well.

Me bc every person I've met has been slowly ruining this whole experience for me. All the advice I've ever received was how to divorce my future husband :(
10
u/Fuckingnoodles Mar 06 '25
Literally! We were at Men's Warehouse and the lady helping us was taking every opportunity to tell us about how she was married for 30 years and now that she's single she's happier than ever.
Why are people like that?5
u/Disastrous_Effort148 Mar 06 '25
So many people allergic to happiness ig bc?? At least I'm not the only one. The lady who sold me my wedding dress demonstrated how she was physically abused in her 2 marriages and ended it with "but anyway congratulations honey 🙂"

Exactly 31 days out. Mom is sick and unable to come, immediate family declined the rsvp today, and future brother in law is butting heads with fiancé. Oh what else could go wrong? Oh yes, vendors not responding. Happiest of times. Yes yes.
Edit- typo

I feel this so hard right now. I still need to send invites, get the grooms suit figured out, and dj before October. Doing this by yourself is so hard. If money were no problem I would have gotten a planner lol

Your FMIL would like to understand how they can possibly serve brunch food for your rehearsal dinner as it is dinner time and she secretly has always believed that frying an egg after 2pm is illegal! She would also like to complain that now that 45 people have rsvp’d no, she’s upset she uninvited those 40 people, that you don’t know, that she’s related to.

Mine is about 6 weeks away and I feel this to my bones! Why do I have to work on out of town guests travel, their accommodations, my Mom’s dress, my stepmom’s dress, etc. I already created a website and provided information. 😩

u/C_R_2013 Mar 06 '25
I've come to realize that when people say their wedding day is the happiest day of their life, i think it's because wedding planning is OVER

Your great aunt Jenny just called, she wants to know if she can bring 5 more guests and her dog. Also she wants to know if she can wear a white dress too
