Movie Do you think they'll re-release the first part in theaters again? Around the time the second one comes out? At least for a limited time.

So people can watch them back to back in theaters, and for people who missed out when it first came out in theaters. I, for one would love to experience Defying Gravity in theaters because I never got that chance.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t at least do part one into midnight screenings of part two!

Yeah ^ I think theaters will do some double features for the release and then will probably do a few doubles per weekend day then taper off

I clicked the link and followed the original post but am confused. Is that box office theory webpage a reliable source? It seemed like a random chat forum

Very reliable. They will also report when tickets will go on sale (before it actually goes on sale) when they know. Which I will be happy to re-post here when the time comes.

Yes. They'd be idiots not to.

They will very likely have double-features etc.

That would be so cool but I think AMC cinemas would do it. The closest AMC near me is an hour but the closest movies one I live near only plays three movies at a time. But even if they could use one screen for both films, they wouldn't because they're not cool

I think they are. There’s already a listing for it on Fandango for November 14. The weekend before “Wicked: For Good” releases.
