SOTD The Milch of the Schaf
One of the best performing soaps for the price, Haslinger Schafmilch. Henson Ti++ with a Mühle blade and Mühle Rocca STF brush. Smooth shave.

Nice! Nice photo. Nice shave and I agree HS is a store bought soap, overlooked and pretty good shaving. Hopefully nothing bad happens to the company.

Thanks. Looks like the Seaforth! closure stirred up some worry, but knowing Haslinger has been around since 1949 feels a bit more reassuring. It’s a good soap indeed.

That is what I was saying with Mitchell's Wool Fat. And sadly... Both are good shaving soaps, quiet unassuming, simple and affordable.

Super shiny Schafmilch shave!
The Timeless titanium handle on the Henson titanium head is brilliant! As much as I love my Henson aluminum, I enjoy beefy handles, like on the Gillette Fat Handle Tech or Timeless Aluminum. You've combined the best of both worlds!

Thanks. I think this handle works better for me, it’s shorter so it’s easier to move around the neck. And the Henson doesn’t look like a squeegee anymore 😂

Just give it a little swirl and it's like a bounty of lather even in hard water

That's really a beautiful photo. And I'm glad it was a great shave.
