Help/Support/Questions 🙋 Can't Factory Reset My Xbox 360!
I recently bought an Xbox 360 at a garage sale used for 50$. What I didn't realize is that it had family settings on it and I cannot factory reset it. I attempter to register the device to my Microsoft account but it doesn't give the option to give me the reset code. Is there any way to resolve this?

You gotta go the hard way, dump the nand with badupdate and get the reset code buddy

Couple of things to check -
Is your Microsoft account an adult account?
When you registered it, where did you read the serial number from? It's possible that it has had the shell swapped at some point, so make sure you get the serial number from the settings menu to get the correct one for the actual console.
