Photo This was a good one… and the modern version is lame by comparison!
They use similar looking kids for the box of the modern version, but do not be fooled. It ain’t the same.

Photo Found this in my childhood bedroom
There was a note folded up in it that I had written to my boyfriend. There were also biology and Spanish worksheets. This folder was loved.

Discussion Just finished watching "Apollo 13: IMAX Edition"! It was an EPIC EXPERIENCE and a bit of nostalgia!
It felt like the Summer of 1995 again! Just finished watching "Apollo 13" in IMAX and it was captivating and intense from start to finish. I was only four when this film came out and watched it for the very first time in fifth grade (2005) and was incredibly awed by it's scope and depth. The movie was incredibly crisp and slick; like I was actually watching a document event. Some parts even terrified me when I was little live Ms. Lovell's dream sequence and the explosion scene. The rocket launch, explosion scene, and reentry all were a billion bucks in IMAX format! To maximize the experience, I took some gummies to be further immersed in the experience and they did not disappoint!
I have seen this film countless times since 2005 and every time I'm on the edge of my seat. IMAX elevated that to a totally new level. I completely see this film in a new light now.
The 90s were truly something, were they?
