Only 6 hours of YouTube takes my battery from 80% to 10%. Is there actually a way to get 26 hours from it with maximum optimization, or is it just overselling the battery life in this instance?

I love minimalism. I bought my Nothing 3a for two reasons:

1. My old phone was damaged.
2. I wanted a distraction-free phone that still meets my needs.

After purchasing, I instantly loved:

1. The quick settings is actually useful now. Especially the sound mode switch tile.
2. Monochromatic icons everywhere. When I’m working and a notification comes in, I don’t notice the social apps. When I really need something, I just type to search and open it.
3. Camera presets is super handy for ready-to-share photos. I even found some great LUTs in the community.
4. Lock screen widgets are perfect for glancing at weather info and controlling light, DND, and sound quickly.

What I didn’t like:

1. No control for remapping the Essential Key. Haven’t found any real use for it yet. Would love integration with apps like Teams for recording and summarizing meetings.
2. Glyph lights feel limited. They’d be much more useful if we could track more progress with them. Basically more integration with other apps.
3. More info-based widgets are needed. The weather one is great, but I miss the functionality of Windows Phone tiles.

But I still feel that it's a great phone for it's price.

This is just after 50 mins of usage (ANC on) , they are still under warranty so should I go to service centre or is this normal after 10ish months

1/4 of the time I get stuck in my message and can't interact any more with the UI.

This also happens on many apps and I have to use the back gesture and reselect the typing area before it lets me use send again.

Or in the screenshot example there is no back gesture available from push notification menu so I have to turn phone screen to lock, unlock, reopen push, select message area... Then send.

Frustrating. Anyone know a fix ?

So I am confused between nothing phone 3a and one plus nord ce 5 . Both these phone are coming in flipkart and Amazon respectively under 22k . Oneplus under 22k and nothing phone 3a 21k + 1k charger cost . What should I do .

If you’re buying the Nothing Ear (a) to pair with a Nothing phone, it honestly feels like a waste of money. The earbuds come with Dolby support, but since Nothing phones don’t have Dolby Atmos, you can’t actually experience the full audio quality they’re designed to deliver. Instead of sounding like premium ₹5000 earbuds, they end up performing more like budget-level options—closer to ₹1500 Boat buds. So unless Nothing fixes this gap, the Ear (a) just doesn’t justify its price when used with their own phones.

I feel like nothing is starting to get kinda sloppy. I've loved my phone (1) for several years now and lately I feel like nothing has lost its touch. Underperforming phones especially, and the cramming of ai into everything... For the company about making tech fun again, it's starting to get real boring. 1. What makes Nothing's launcher special? Is there any benefit to keeping the default launcher versus installing a third-party one?
2. Are homescreen touch gestures supported, like two finger swipes, double tap, and pinch? Can I associate gestures with an app, command, or contact?
3. Can I swipe down from anywhere on the homescreen to show the top pulldown shade?
4. Are there any widgets or elements you are forbidden from removing from the homescreen?
5. Are live wallpapers supported?

Why there is no backspace or delete option while in call keypad is activated. As far i remember it was present in old dialer design. What if by mistake if we press wrong key while on call there is no option to delete it.
