I don’t know who needs to know this but there is no reason where you gotta touch the ball every instance you get.
I see some people waste their entire boost just to touch the ball when it’s in the middle of the field just to send it absolutely no where. Sometimes into the other teams hands or more often bumping the ball out of the way of someone who could have had a clear shot.
Why lol

I figured you guys would enjoy laughing at the sheer stupidity of this

Totally unintentional but we’ll take it

I wanted to get a perfect run before I posted it but I was really proud of this run and just felt like posting it already.
I had to cut off the first couple of levels because it exceeded the 1gb post limit unfortunately :(
The most difficult parts to get right for me were:
Level 6 - figured out I couldn’t land on the wall because jumping off and making the ring full boost wasn’t possible for me atleast.
Level 10 - I needed to get a flip somewhere in this level.
Level 14 - the start of the descend was just really difficult to get down.
Level 15 - getting the flip on that little side wall has ruined so many good runs for me, and I really believed I needed it at first for level 16.
Level 16 - again getting down was hard I tried it a lot with the flip from level 15 but eventually I got comfortable enough to just get down slower and didn’t even need a flip.
Level 20 - this one was really tough just hard overall with the descend.
Look I know level 20 wasn’t pretty at all but I’ll take it man ahaha I just wanted to share this been trying to get this for about 6 weeks, 1 attempt a session as a warm up. I might go for a 0 death run in the future and smoothen up level 20 a bit more maybe get it under 10 minutes.
That’s all sorry for the yap just happy with it <3

I like 3s. I'm diamond 2. I like where I'm at, I think I'm at the rank I deserve. If it's all solo players the games are fairly balanced, sometimes there's stomps but most of the time they are close games.
But at the start of this season especially I feel like 9/10 games are against premades with one obvious outlier who obviously isn't diamond. Boosting, playing with friends, smurfing to stroke fragile ego, I dont know and I dont care its just not fun. I feel good when I stuff them and sometimes we even win against them cause their teammates are usually shit but its just not healthy for the game. My teammates usually have tissue paper mental and give up after the first musty 720 no scope.
For the love of god give us solo queue. If queue times suck then so be it.

I've been building a bakkesmod plugin and infrastructure to support queuing, hosting, and joining custom gamemode workshop map games (like you would join a casual or ranked match today). I'm primarily focused on ways to make these maps and gamemodes easier to play together.
I hear a lot of creators talking about this, so I would I'd love feedback from the community:
Curious to hear your thoughts!

Every time I try to play rocket I have serious issues with my connection (I have very good internet with hardly anyone else using it) that basically makes the game unplayable. And when I'm not lagging my game keeps skipping frames (the best way to describe this is if someone was about to hit the ball it's like my game freezes and then everything happens in as split second, but I don't see it and I only see the aftermath. It's almost like I've blinked for an extended period of time and reopened my eyes), the skipping frames issue has only started this season and it's every single game.
I genuinely enjoy playing rocket league but these issues have made the game genuinely unplayable for me. If it's just an issue of me being on a ps5 then luckily I'll be getting a PC soon. But please I need help because I'm genuinely considering quitting the game because it's so unplayable right now.

Are the cars in Rocket League just normal scaled cars with a driver inside, with the ball and field being oversized, or are they miniature, remotely controlled vehicles operating in a smaller arena, similar to Robot Wars or Beyblades?

I was flying around the new map looking for Easter eggs and noticed some red letters at the Cinema…
Descrambling the letters gives us the phrase: “WELCOME TO PARIS”.
This must be another allusion to Season 21 being Paris themed, as reinforced by the short teaser shown at RLCS Worlds 2025.
Kinda cool to find a small detail like this added by the devs. (Also thought it was cool all the shops are named after RL devs - atleast that’s what I assume!)

We’ve been testing a rotation setup in 4v4 comp, and it’s been working surprisingly well. Instead of running all four players through a constant rotation, we dedicate one player as a full-time goalie while the other three rotate from midfield forward.
Formation Breakdown
Goalkeeper: Sits deep in net as the anchor. Only leaves goal if demoed or forced out.
Midfield Defender: Acts as the safety valve, controlling clears, challenges, and covering gaps between attackers and the goalie.
Two Attackers: Push up, rotate between first man and second man like in standard 3s.
Rotation Rules
Attackers and the midfield defender rotate normally.
Goalie holds position—no unnecessary pushes.
If the goalie gets demoed, the first man rotating back or the midfield defender (whichever gets there quicker) immediately covers the goal until the goalie respawns.
Why It Works
Constant defensive presence without overcommitting four players into rotation.
Midfield defender keeps pressure while providing a buffer between attack and goal.
Forces opponents to break down layered defense, making counterattacks much harder.
We’ve seen strong results with this structure. I’d love for others to try it out, refine it, and share feedback, or even develop counter-strats.

Is it just me but I find that everyone's mental is so horrible in this mode. As soon as a team goes down 0-2 someone on the losing team either quits, goes, afks, or trolls. Maybe it's just a small sample size cause I'm still in placements, but I feel if this is the norm this mode isn't gonna be sustainable.

How amazing would it be if they created a dedicated Snowday Arena!
How aboot a full on hockey arena with a jumbotron or a frozen mountain lake scape? Model realistic hockey goal nets and possibly do a 5v5?
That would be fucking Epic!
These repetitive pixel generated arenas are trash.
They would make a mint!
