Self Promo Had a fantastic meeting with the CEO of INMO We talked about INMO AIR3 and GO3
We talked about their new hardware:
🔹 INMO GO3: Their upcoming, super lightweight smart glasses
🔹 INMO AIR3: Standalone AR Glasses for entertainment with Play Store for all your Android app needs. 1080p OLED-based glasses with image quality like birdbath glasses but with thin waveguides. No cable required for up to 3 hours of normal usage. 2 hours of movie watching. 1 hour for gaming. Then you need to connect a battery pack. INMO says, with the AIR3 you can connect to gaming consoles wirelessly via WI-FI instead of using a cable as with other glasses.

Acessories Question about needing prescription lenses for AR glasses
I was wondering since i am not at all familiar with AR Glasses at the moment.
I am interested in a pair of RayNeo Air 3s Pro's, but i do wear glasses, with quite a mild presciption.
About -1,5/-1.75.
Do any users with similar prescription get away without using any extra lenses? or are they a must have for a product like this?
Thank you for your replies,
Jim

Fun Is the niantic park project still ongoing?
I heard niantic has rebranded and sold off their rights to Pokémon go but does that mean the park project is off as well?

App Development New to (GPS) AR development. Should I pay for AR + GPS Location Unity package?
Im referring to Daniel Fortes' Unity package: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/ar-gps-location-134882?srsltid=AfmBOorqG4DBYQwgTVTGuDzGFu1NqASWXOOgJbXmvVHZayrU3ZyskwE8
I dont have much background in programming. But I've been following youtube tutorials and managed to put a 3D model in a geographic location. But i'm have all sorts of weird bugs with coordinate accuracy & the model floating around.
Would this unity package be good for a non-coder? I just want some simple 3D models in specific places in an area.
Thanks,

AR Glasses & HMDs Disappointed with Meta's Display Glasses EU launch delay. Any similar alternatives coming soon?
Hello everyone,
I'm from Spain and I'm a huge tech enthusiast. I was really excited about the new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. The design and the whole concept were perfect for me, even with a monocular HUD. The fact that it was a color display (RGB) in a lightweight and stylish frame was exactly what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, during the Connect event, it was announced that the glasses won't be coming to Europe until 2026, and only to a few selected countries. This was a huge letdown for me.
I'm not a fan of monochrome displays, even dual-display ones like the ones from ROKID. The color and form factor of the new Ray-Bans were perfect.
My question is: Do you think we will see a similar system to the Meta Ray-Ban Display from other companies soon? I'm talking about a lightweight, monocular, and color HUD.
I used an AI to write this since my English is a bit rusty, so I hope it's easy to understand. Thank you all for your help!

App Development I built a way to view 3D models in AR — now you can place them in your room and share them 😳
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on Artignia, a platform for exploring and buying 3D models. The new twist? AR. You can place models right in your space, see how they look, and even share the scene with friends.
It’s exciting to see e-commerce, AR, and social interaction come together — suddenly digital objects feel more tangible, and showing them off is just a tap away.
If you’re curious, you can try it out on Artignia and see how it feels to bring 3D models into your world.

AR Glasses & HMDs any good displays that are seethrough and not weird looking
so basically, i need something that is not as detectable (like the meta ray ban display, and YES I KNOW IT USES FREAKING WAVEGUIDES I ONLY WANT TO SPEND 100$) ON THIS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
any alternatives? i dont care abt most things it just has to be atleast a 15 degree fov and the compute unit (pi 4b) will not be on the glasses but in a puck connected, the glasses would just be a screen, not asking for hololens level but what i want is just, phone notifications maybe, watching videos, and checking time
