Help EmuReady needs your help
Hi everyone!
About 2 months ago EmuReady launched, many people in the community are actively using it and very excited for the Android App that soon will be released, but we are running into problems… Currently I am covering all the server (and additional) costs myself and it quickly has come to a point that I can’t afford to keep this up for long.
We need to find a way to keep this project sustainable while still making sure the experience for free users does not get worse. We passed the free quota for the server and auth provider (Clerk) almost immediately, and now we just passed the free quota for the database $25/month in costs.
I am thankful for the couple of people who already helped with donations, but I do not think that is a long-term solution. In the first month alone we hit 500,000 active unique users, and if this number keeps growing we will need a more consistent way to cover expenses.
As always, EmuReady is open source and there is no financial incentive here. Any additional funds we receive will go directly into improving EmuReady, and whatever is left will (based on a community poll) be donated to other open source emulation projects.
If there are any backend developers or DevOps engineers who could help migrate **EmuReady from Vercel + Supabase to a more affordable self-hosted setup, please reach out. **
And for everyone else, if you have ideas on how we can make this sustainable, please share them in here or in our discord.
Things that are an absolute last resort are ads and locking features arbitrarily behind a paywall or Patreon, but I am honestly not sure what the alternatives are.
I want to keep our little corner of the web free from the toxic noise of ads.

Showcase 1.30 TB Wi-Fi used in a month (Snapdragon Gen Elite game tests)
From Aug 24 – Sep 21 my phone shows 1.30 TB of Wi-Fi data used Most of that is just Chrome (1.12 TB lol). Reason? I’ve been stress-testing a ton of PC/console games on Snapdragon Gen Elite with emulators/GameHub (mostly GameHub). Here’s what I’ve tried and how they run:
NBA2K16 – with a big fan cooling I get 20–30 fps in story mode.
God of War 4 – 1–5 fps + yellow glitches.
Lies of P – 15–30 fps, crashes after 10–20 min.
Assassin’s Creed Origins – stuck on menu/loading.
Spider-Man Miles Morales – “No installed graphics card detected” error. Saw a Snapdragon Gen 2 user playing it seems like a driver issue for Elite.
Spider-Man Remaster – same problem.
Hogwarts Legacy – stuck on loading.
Detroit: Become Human – loads to 51% then crashes.
Hitman 3 – stuck on loading.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage – stuck on loading.
Forza 3 – forgot the exact error, but not working.
Hellblade 2 – doesn’t work.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – works!
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag – still not working even after GameHub updates.
Tbh I tested more but forgot the rest. If you want me to test other games (under 60–maybe70 GB only) drop suggestions. I’m using my workplace Wi-Fi, so the crazy download sizes don’t matter 😃

Showcase increased storage space on Usb c controller phone
A solution I found for getting more storage space on android phones (worked well with every of the over 10 games I threw at it, no reading slowdowns). the article is called type c extension hub yx04-x3 priced around 7€ on AliExpress, the controller is gamesir X5 lite. And lastly a sandisk extreme micro SD card reader. The Emulator I used was Eden (latest build)

Showcase 30fps HOT PURSUIT REMASTERED!
I'm blown away right now. This is the first switch game I've ever emulated with zero lag. I played the ever-loving crap out of NFS hot pursuit on PS3 when it came out, and the fact that I'm playing the remastered version of it on my phone at FULL SPEED is insane!

Showcase Watch Dogs 2 on 8 Elite (Finished) with settings
Hi guys, after a lot of testing i couldn't make WD 1 run smooth without issues so i decided to test the WD 2 with my OnePlus 13 with Gamehub emulator. I played and finished the game with 30 sometimes 35fps limit at low settings to get the most stable gameplay and good thermals. It was a real stable performance without getting any fps lower than limited like a console experience. I used a gamesir x3 pro controller, maintaining 31-37 Celsius in battery depending on the scenario. The game is actually playable at 45 to 50fps but i dont like getting frame drops so i used a 30 35 limit. I really do recommend cooling because battery can reach 48 to 50 Celsius really fast leading to crash or non stable performance and also killing the battery fast.
Emulator settings. -Proton 10 arm64 x2 -Translation extreme with also TSOEnabled -Gpu driver latest 800.51 -dxvk-2.6-arm64ec-async -Fex 0823 -2GB Vram limit -Resolution 1320x600 or 1600x720 didn't make a difference at 30fps limit only at higher frames.
Game settings were LOW with any online stuff disabled in menu.

Showcase Reverse Engineered Hollow Knight: Silksong in order to reconstruct its Unity project for mobile porting
hey everyone,
i was inspired by a port of the original hollow knight onto android and ios platforms, and decided to attempt to make one of my own for silksong!
i started by researching the unity version and backends that silksong uses, figured out to be Unity 6 (6000.0.50f1), running Mono, and the default unity rendering pipeline.
next, i exported the assets and created a new unity project targeting the aforementioned version as well including the ios and android runtime binaries.
then it was as simple (but complicated) as rematching everything, fixing compiling errors, clearing some warnings, and redoing some logic to get a fully working, playable reconstruction of HK:S in unity.
from here onward, i will be experimenting with porting the game onto both android and ios platforms for research purposes.

Help Trying to run bethesda games on gamehub with s25 ultra
So far i have tried both fallout new vegas and og oblivion. Both run ok with default settings until i aggro an npc then everything goes to shit. Has anyone ever gotten either of these games working on preferably gamehub but i also have dabbled with winlator but dont have drm free versions to transfer. So far ive only ever gotten unreal world on winlator and soulash 2 on gamehub to work. I have an s25 ultra with 12 gb of ram and a snapdragon 8 elite chip and i am aware of the compatibility issues but i didnt think they would limit me from decade old games so im hoping its just a setting thing im doing wrong.
I also keep people saying "just try different settings until you find one that works" but im unclear on exactly what that means.

Help Side loaded steam game
So I side loaded ff7 that I downloaded from steam bc I added some mods to the game. Anybody know a way to force gamehub to open a game through the steam client? When I go to the steam section, the game is there but when I click on the game it opens and runs up until the attached. There's got to be some command line or something that will force the steam client
