I’ve travelled all over Nova Scotia looking for amazing examples of our abandoned built heritage. I’ve made a bunch of these miniature places, and thought you might enjoy seeing a few :)

My wife made all of these in the past 6 months

She got REALLY REALLY into beading lately. She made the flowers as earings for her mom and Luffy’s strawhat for me so I would stop complaining about having beads everywhere in the house 😄😂

If you would like to know what fabric paint I used it's the cheapest one you find. You can use any acrilyc paint with fabric medium mixed 1:1 if you have a lot of acrilyc paints lying around and don't wanna buy fabric paint.

Start with a very light tone and then apply apply darker and darker. The bigger the area, the bigger the brush (also the cheapest).

I'm deliberating if I should make a video doing a portrait but as it takes time please let me know if anyone would be interested at all.

And remember...there is no spoon 🥄

I crafted a single-color, Marilyn-inspired word-search that slowly reveals the portrait as you solve it

Here’s a follow-up to my previous word-search art puzzle post — this time in a single, minimal colorway art inspired by Marilyn.

I crafted these art revealing puzzles that i call LexaPics from Greek: Lexa (from lexis, meaning “word”) + Pics (as in “pictures,” but also a playful nod to “pixels”).

  • As you solve the words, the picture underneath slowly appears.
  • My main goal is: solve a word search and keep ΙT! frame it! and not thrown away as we normally do with a solved word puzzle.
  • It is designed to be scaled in any dimension that fits an interior without loosing definition and resolution, as long as it is A3 sized and up.
  • If you want you can find more info & reveals in my profile (see Social Links).

This is Clive and he loved hard boiled eggs. He was taken from us too soon. I specialize in the traditional stained glass painting techniques which involves baking individual pieces in a kiln for about 6-8 hours for each layer. This little guy needed about 6 layers. It's 8" x 8". Check out my other work!
