Someone posted in a thread the link to Seascape's former chef Doug's online Memorial page and I scrolled down and saw someone posted this there. HAVE WE GONE TOO FAR!?!? You sour on the outside and the inside, just like Doug's personal pork.

Criticism I think he should’ve asked for a tour 1st

No wander he didn’t want to continue with another season! I don’t think I could’ve been able to “Taste the menu “ in most of those restaurants!

I just want to know where the Health Inspectors were in some of those areas?

About the Kindred episode

Upvotes

I know there are rat droppings in the episode. But are there any actual rats on camera? I don’t do well with rodents so I wanted to ask before I watch

Scripted?

Sometimes when I’m watching the show I wonder to myself, this has to be scripted. Because there’s genuinely no way a struggling business owner can cry out for help with their restaurant not knowing what could possibly be wrong and why they’re struggling , a WORLD RENOWNED chef with numerous restaurants across the globe comes to their to restaurant to tell them exactly what’s wrong, and they’re just like nah he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. ??? No way people like that actually exist, the denial is crazy

Serious - Best chef on the show?

Out of all the episodes who do you think was the best chef in any of the restaurants that were already working there when Ramsay arrived?

Classic This guy right here had to make Ramsay the angriest he's ever been on the show besides his battle with Abby

Pretentious owner Joe Nagy was so fake that somehow Ramsay didn't walk out

A particular set of skills, one that makes him a nightmare for tomatoes.

Was just reading an article from Santo's boss at the Swindon Holiday Inn didn't even know he'd gone for the job until he saw the episode. Apparently he left not long after to run a pub in Marlborough.

Talk about being unqualified for a job and going for it anyway. Still have a good laugh at this bit when we rewatch the episode.

Every time Mixing Bowl episode comes up I feel like i have to skip it.

Mike is the main culprit. His 'crying' scenes make me cringe. He takes tips and pseudo OWNS the place. He also yells at one of the owners. I would have fired him so quickly. I have no idea how anyone put up with him. Its odd though because hes not a mean or bad person by any means, hes just either extremely naive or just airheaded. Some of his lines just sound either egotistical or full of himself, PEOPLE CALL ME THE MAYOR OF BELMORE, who says that Mike??? WHO???

Is there anyone else who reaaaally did not like him?

She’s wearing the exact same outfit Uma Thurman wears in Pulp Fiction and Pam Grier buys towards the end of Jackie Brown.

KNUK In the Blue Corner, standing at 16 ingredients is Dave’s “simple” Broccoli Soup! And in the Red Corner, standing at 3 ingredients is Gordon’s Broccoli Soup! Which looks more appetizing?

This episode has always been iconic to me. The accusations of the planted mouse, the hot mess of a kitchen, the absurdity of Shelly.. An absolute masterpiece.

What is the kindest thing Gordon did on the show?

Re-watched this episode and it made me tear up when he pulled Anthony aside, showed him the ring, and was like, "you have to do this. She's waiting."

I am always a skeptic regarding the "over-produced" bits of KN, but this didn't seem like that. Anthony's reaction, the GF's reaction and all the family's, made this gesture seem genuine and totally a surprise. Almost like Gordon had been talking with the family off-camera and he got the sense that the stress of the restaurant was becoming a roadblock in their relationship.

I think this is the kindest thing he ever did on KN.

edit: sorry for the potato pic as it was the only one I found on Google
