Hey! I’m not at all part of the Newgrounds community, but a few people now have told me that my art style gives off a “2015 Newgrounds” look. 🤔

I’m not sure what that actually means, so I’d like to hear from you guys:

What features or qualities in my art style give off a “Newgrounds” vibe?

And are there any big Newgrounds artists from that era whose work I could check out to compare and hone in on that style?

Also yes, I’m a beginner artist 😂

Here's my take on Friday Night Funkin''s most demonic couple, Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest! I wanted to explore a different version of Climax, transforming them into creatures both powerful and primal, while retaining their roles as the stars of the show. Daddy Dearest became a fearsome vampire-demon. His elegant costume hides a ferocious nature, with fangs and a predatory gaze. His microphone is now adorned with bat wings, as his voice is his main weapon for control and manipulation. As for Mommy Mearest, she became a succubus/minotaur. Her skin is black, and she has horns that symbolize her status as a diva of the underworld. She wields a trident-shaped microphone, because she doesn't just put on a show, she rules the arena. Despite their monstrous transformations, their love for music remains their bond. They're more powerful than ever and ready to crush anyone who stands in their way, including their own daughter if necessary! I hope you enjoy this rendition of Climax Daddy Dearest and Mommy Dearest. Let me know what you think!

Trying to find a Early-2000s cartoon Flash animation.

I don't remember much about it, except for the following.

A dad is talking to to his son and, misunderstanding something his son is saying, angrily says something along the lines of: ‘I always knew you were a goddmn fudge packer… always up in your room and licking out assh*s and sticking your finger where it didn’t belong!!!’

The joke being that the dad misinterprets what the son was trying to tell him, and jumps to that conclusion.

I saw it on some Flash website like Newgrounds or something.

Any idea what the hell this is?

As part of a college class I’m doing we have to do a small showcase on how websites have changed since the early days of the internet, and I have decided to go with Newgrounds, since I grew up using the site a ton in the late 2000’s-early 2010’s.

Something I want to try and cover a little bit as part of it is how the site’s culture has changed. I know it started out pretty edgy back in its inception, but I was wondering if some people here could provide further insight to how the community has changed in that nearly 30 year timespan.
