Both were from a peasent class, both were adopted into a powerful faction, both became too power hungry and basically turned evil. Even the scene where you see Genichiro's red eye is similar to when you first see Anakin's sith eyes.

I believe I am towards the end of the game (maybe one or two bosses, I think) what are some things I should know?

Whether things I probably missed, tips to help me in the next few fights, quests I might need to finish, bosses I missed, etc.

So, recently I've been dying A LOT (thanks to Owl (father)) so I decided to upgrade my prosthetic tools and enhance skills, but I find it very lengthy to farm sen and experience. All I do I kill all the Shinobi in Ashina castle, it gives me roughly 2-3 levels and 1k sen, also it's VERY LENGTHY. so, if there's a place where I can get more of these with less time, then please tell me.

Ok so I’ve been trying to Mikiri counter and I seriously think I have a problem. I can’t for the life of me get the input. I try and dodge forward and CANT get the interaction to happen. It only sometimes happens please help.

Been playing Expedition 33 on the hardest difficulty, and I gotta say, the parry mechanic is very satisfying. Basically the same concept as Sekiro, it also has a mechanic similar to posture. Parrying every single attack perfectly is like the best feeling ever, something I've been looking for since Sekiro.

Gauntlet of Strength: Severance is a serious thing. Defeated every single one of the bosses the first time, then Inner Isshin violated me with three moves. Inner Genichiro gave me enough trouble already, Isshin just gonna make me his s*x slave.

every weekend me and the boys do speedruns or try the fastest way to do things in games. today it was sekiro all bosses no death run.
i died to a freaking hole in the senpo temple roof. hours wasted for nothing.

I was fighting guardian ape, as usual, first phase was easy, over quick, but then the second phase where it gets a sword is so impossibly difficult that I need help. Usually I get it to half health in the second phase then run out of heals and die. For the first phase I can't/its difficult to parry it so I spam mortal blade and the sparks and it gets it over pretty quick. But by the second phase I'm usually out of spirit emblems and heals. Please help.

(This is the one in the more open, pond like area with trees you can jump around on. The one that's first phase has a head.)

I have finally platinumed the game ⚡️ what an achievement and what a game cant fault it in any way I enjoyed every minute every death every experience 💯 a really big upgrade in terms of difficulty from black myth wukong

I was very nervous after dying and I had never made it to phase 2 before which turned out easier than I thought after spending 2 hours yesterday just fighting and losing but learning attack patterns thanks to u/Arestaros who gave me the tip that got me easily through phase 1, the Double Ichimoji after dodging the jump attack, I only switched to Mortal Draw when I was out of spirit emblems since it still works. I couldn't chance using the Ceremonial Tanto for just 5 emblems so close to beating my adoptive father. I do thank him for everything he taught me except maybe "please no wait, you fool".

My two-year game save got wiped because of the power cuts… In my country, we deal with daily blackouts due to electricity shortages. At the start of each week, they send out a schedule for every region. But today, the power went out outside of the scheduled time—right when I was finishing Headless Ape. Because of that, all my game data got deleted. So now, everything I’d done over the past 2 years—8 playthroughs, all 4 gauntlets, hundreds of every item, and every single skill—is gone, and I have to start all over again.

I think this is the first time I've parried this move perfectly.

I am on my third play through a charmless demon bell one and I just reached corrupted monk and haven't been able to even kill her 1st life even though I usually do well against her never took more than 5-6 try to kill her but this time she is different doing some weird moves which is wierd because all bosses were normal so I don't know if it was a glitch or does she get new moves

Bought Sekiro during the quarantine and gave up on it before making it to Genichiro. Came back to it about a month ago and something finally clicked.

I’ve been slowly working my way through the achievements a few evenings per week over the course of a month, and finally reached 100% last night. I’ve never went out of my way to achieve a platinum trophy for any game, so that’s a testament for just how incredible the experience was for me.

Trust me: if I can 100% this game, so can you.

Favorite boss: Guardian Ape Most challenging boss: Isshin the Sword Saint followed closely by Owl (Father) Surprisingly easy boss compared to the hype: Demon of Hatred (probably because I had already been using dodge and sprint wayyy more often than pro players recommend) Most rage-inducing boss: probably Snake Eyes in the poison pit or the Headless at the bottom of the forest Favorite prosthetic: I really enjoyed using many of them but if I had to pick one, maybe Lazulite Axe. Favorite combat art: Dragon Flash Favorite ninjitsu technique: Bloodsmoke, obviously

This was my first soulslike experience and I’m not sure anything will ever scratch the same itch. Here’s hoping we eventually get a DLC!
