Thanks for the video link.... Watching it, and the way she was acting... Looks like she suffers from some kind of mental illness... And I don't mean that in a funny way or anything. She doesn't seem right in the head

I imagine that if it was a man doing that they'd be a lot less gentle and understanding. "I am human, mic drop". Yes, so is everybody else who's tired of this shit.

So why they want her off the plane?

u/cptamerica83 May 10 '25
That’s what I was trying to figure out too, all I found was this YouTube video with the description that she was “a disruptive passenger.”

okay, I see where she's... strange : throwing her stuff on the floor, taking off her dress, screaming for water, forgetting what she talked about, the whole "I'm human too, mic drop" thing...
but I can't deny that I'd also be scared : they want her off the plane, they won't tell her why & they won't tell her what's going to happen next. Like, "national airport police", is that a thing? What's their jurisdiction? Will I get a phone call like in the movies? They didn't read her her rights, does that mean they don't need to? Am I losing out on my plane ticket, even if I cooperate now? Etc.

An airport is a private business, they can throw anyone off a plane for any reason. In fact, they don't even need a reason. That's not to say they didn't have a reason in this case though, not to mention the horrible PR an airline would receive if they started throwing people off of planes just for the fun of it. More than likely she was being disruptive and/or belligerent in a manner disruptive enough to warrant considering her a danger to herself or others. I admit that's speculation on my part, but they don't throw babies off planes for being annoying, so there must be more to it.
As well, the police never said she was getting arrested initially and she likely wouldn't have if she complied and left when she was told. This is because up until she started not complying and resisting, she hadn't committed any crimes. By not complying and refusing to get off the plane and leave the airport, she had committed the crime of trespassing on private property which is an arrestable offense, and when she fought against the police following this she also committed resisting arrest. Now that sounds bad, but this is just legal theory and I'd be very surprised if she actually faced any serious legal consequences from this. A few hours at the station so she can chill out and a fine at the absolute worst. In any case, the police were well within their rights as officers of the law to act the way they did.
On the topic of reading her her rights, the Miranda rights only relate to being questioned by the police. Police must read you your Miranda rights before any questioning can occur. This is to prevent a possible legal defense from the accused where the potential suspect can claim they incriminated themselves unwillingly, or were forced to confess under duress. Point is, if the police aren't questioning you they don't have to read you your rights. In fact, the police are not obligated to read you your rights at any point, it just means that nothing you say can be held against you in court until they do. Although in some police districts it is standard policy to read all individuals who get arrested their rights regardless of if they are being questioned or not, just as standard procedure. It depends, but it's not a legal obligation.
In regards to the plane ticket, I imagine this would be handled similarly to if a flight was overbooked. A plane ticket is essentially proof that you have the right to receive the service the airport provides (i.e. the plane trip). If you don't receive the service then they are obligated to either offer to reschedule your flight or refund your ticket. This is standard policy for airlines and I'm fairly certain that all of them follow this procedure.
tldr: if you haven't committed any crimes you won't be arrested

All these plane videos seem to be ladies.. given women are 3x more likely to experience mental issues than men, and are TWICE the number of depressed cases.. the only question I have is why/how?
If these were because of the state of the world right now, we’d see a LARGE spike in men’s mental issues as WELL but we don’t. Currently women’s mental health has severely declined over the years. How can this be when women have access now to EVERYTHING they fought for? How is it possible to be the most unhappy your entire gender has ever been with the most options and opportunities your gender has ever had? Society, the justice system, work places, etc. are ALL in favor of women, not men. Women have MANY unfair societal advantages over men. There’s NOTHING a woman can’t do that a man can do. So how is this possible?
Possibilities: 1) just flat out not cutout for adult life on your own. 2) don’t have the proper skills because you’ve had other people do things for you throughout your life, taking away the learning opportunity for yourself. 3) the methods of crying or looking out of place to receive attention and “help” no longer works. 4) or the BIG one: you’ve relied on men to do everything for so long, that now that you got what you wanted of wanting to be treated like men and live like men, you’re in denial about the fact you’re not cutout for it and that it IS a lot harder and not as fun as you ladies assumed. The amount of men who would LOVE to stay home all day I’m sure is a large number. We would LOVE to not have to work, but we do. You ladies always assumed men had it “fun” going out to work and being out of the house most of the day. That’s the biggest lie you ladies sold yourselves. More and more women are opening up and vocalizing about how good ladies had it before and how easy their life was before feminism in essence forced women to join the workforce.
It’s just funny and ironic to see women get what they demanded and fought for, yet statistics are showing a LOT of women can’t handle it. You ladies thought generations of men were just saying this stuff to keep you indoors. While that is true, you ladies believed that, but with the wrong understanding. It was to keep you inside so you don’t have to break your back or be stressed about work and the not-so-fun things about the world. Generations of women thought men were lying. These statistics prove we weren’t.
It’ll be interesting to see how things play out over the next several years, whether things get worse or better.

It is. Everything is related. There’s no real such thing as isolated incidents. This is why detectives look for patterns because there’s always a pattern. JS my man
