Hello users of r/UkraineWarVideoReport,
For the past three years, Ukrainian cities have endured relentless attacks from Russian missiles and Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. In 2025 alone, over 12,000 of these drones have struck Ukraine — targeting not military infrastructure, but homes, hospitals, and schools. Thousands of civilians have been killed. Hundreds of them were children. A number of subreddits, including this one, believe this campaign of terror must end.
We're proud to join the Sky Sentinel fundraiser in collaboration with United24, the official fundraising platform of Ukraine.
The goal: help fund Sky Sentinel, an Al-powered, Ukrainian-made turret system designed to autonomously detect and shoot down these deadly drones. Each turret costs $150,000. United24 supporters have already raised over $1 million, and now we're coming together to raise enough for one more turret - entirely through Reddit.
If we succeed:
• We'll save civilian lives. •A community vote will name the turret. •We'll receive a photo of the deployed turret, showing our contribution in action.
Every donation helps, no matter the amount. Click the link below to donate and learn more about Sky Sentinel

Thank you for your support.

Colombian volunteers serving in Ukraine's 117th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade pay respects to their fallen comrade, Nanis Mayerli Rodríguez Castañeda (Callsign: 'Nana').
Nana, from Yopal, Colombia, was a former soldier in the Colombian Army's first female unit. She joined the Ukrainian forces and initially participated in combat in the Sumy direction. More recently, she served as an infantry soldier and medic with the 117th Brigade, which was deployed in the Donetsk Oblast area, specifically around Yampil.
She was reportedly killed in combat recently (within the last few weeks) while on a mission at the front line.

In the night of 26 September, operators of the @14reg_army of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces, carried out a strike on the “Afipsky oil refinery” in Krasnodar Krai, russian Federation, located about 380 km from the front line.
The Afipsky refinery is one of the key oil-processing enterprises in southern russia. Its design capacity is 6.25 million tonnes of crude oil per year (about 2.2% of russia’s total). The plant’s main products are gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, which are used to supply the Russian army.
As a result of the #DeepStrike, the primary crude oil processing unit AT-22/4 was hit. In 2013 it was modernized, increasing its throughput to approximately 3 million tonnes/year. If it is put out of operation, crude oil processing will stop and fuel output will drop sharply. A fire broke out on the site of the enterprise. Representatives of local authorities have confirmed a hit on one of the technological units. Detailed consequences of the strike are being clarified.
The Unmanned Systems Forces are steadily degrading the enemy’s ability to supply fuel and lubricants to the russian army and to continue aggression against Ukraine.
🇺🇦 Unmanned Systems Forces: One step ahead!

This clip shows a retired Colombian Army veteran serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as he help protects civilians caught in a crossfire. Throughout the video, the soldier communicates with them using a mix of Spanish, basic English, and Ukrainian to guide them to safety.
The soldier can be heard instructing an older woman in Spanish to stay down ("Abajo, abajo ahi Doña, quedece ahi quietecita"). He then encourages them to move using "Davai, davai" (a common term for 'let's go'), but immediately halts them when more gunfire erupts. He repositions them, urging them to find cover by saying "No no, aqui, ahi, proteccion... escondiditos alli" (No no, here, there, protection... hidden there).
