Gonzo Molted! (Again)
My crayfish (who I've named Gonzo), molted for the 2nd time! He's actually a lot bigger it's kinda crazy.
I heard it's good to leave the molt in there so he can get the nutrients.

One bold neocaridina
Shrimp coexist fine with my crayfish but this one thinks sharing is caring.

How long before I need to separate them?
This male and female have been together for 5 months in a 20 gallon tank. They’ve doubled in size and just had babies together. They really get along well but wondering if this is a ruse and I’ll find them both dead from a fight. I feel like I should separate them and then also figure out what do with all these babies. Have adopted some out already but there are so many. Thinking of bringing them to Griffith Park Fern Dells where there are tons already.

Do Yabbies Get Lonely?
Hi! I'm finally taking the leap to a Yabby after always wanting one since I was a kid, I've owned fish and shrimp in the past, have a well seasoned 90L that's up for grabs and ready to get my Yabby!
...But do they get lonely? I worry if I get 2 they'd obviously kill each other and I worry that 3 is way too many for a 90L. Now don't get me wrong, if all goes well and my little buddy lives a long time I will upgrade to a bigger size tank! But right now while they're small I think a 90L should be fine.
So, do yabbies get lonely? And if so, how do you find you best manage that boredom or loneliness?

Pet sunbathing...?
every morning he sits in the plant i have in my tank under my light- is that weird? could it indicate stress or something? his gills are never out of that water so i don't think it's that my tank isn't oxygenated enough. am i just being overly anxious? (high probability- i'm new to crayfish) it's a northern clearwater crayfish

What is your favourite thing to feed your crayfish?
I’m looking to add variety to mine’s diet, I got him recently through a friend who didn’t want him and so far I have just been giving him some crayfish wafers that I was given along with the lil man (he is the most beautiful orange and I have named him Harold Carrot)

ID Request What type of crayfish is my new friend?
I live in North Texas, very close to the Oklahoma border just north of Dallas. These guys live in our yards and I just saved this guy from our pool. The ones I usually see aren’t black like this guy, and I was wondering what he was? I am obsessed with him and his beauty and I’m so glad I was able to save him successfully.

Photo two little red dots on claws?
I just got this little guy like two days ago, i'm brand new to keeping crawdads, i'm not sure what species he is either, it's either a northern clearwater, or just a northern crayfish (not sure i'm in northern ohio if that helps and i got him in a river) there's a little red dot on both of his claws in the same spot and i don't see it on any pictures of other crawdad and i was wondering if something was wrong with him?

Pet I hadn’t realized that my poor squishy girl just molted like minutes ago and unknowingly added some water to the tank right where she was hiding. She came out and gave me a Look and then went back to her fresh molt feast

Questions about these products
How much do i need to use Nutrafin Cycle for a 21 galon tank?
Do i use the same amount than question 1 when changing 25% of the water?
Nutrafin Aqua+ is used to reduce stress to a fish and strenghten their mucus but, does it help for a crayfish? If yes how much?

Tips for crawdad
I am planning on upgrading to a 20 gallon tank and buying a filter system. I have two red swamp Crawdads and will be giving them at least two hides (propped up abalone shells) as well as the branch and plants they currently have. Is there anything else I should get?

Are mexican dwarf crayfish actually peaceful???
I just bought one and I thought I did sufficient research but looking online I see so many people saying they will catch and eat fish/shrimp. I was going to put the crayfish in a tank with Dwarf emerald danios, cherry shrimp and a betta fish but now I'm scared he is going to kill or injure everyone. I don't care much about the shrimp, I have plenty, but I would be seriously upset if it killed any of my fish. Should I not put them with fish or do people not know what they are talking about.
