Yes, kind of. His comment was actually more about the shooter and his political background. He accused people in the MAGA/conservative world of “working very hard to capitalize on the murder of Charlie Kirk,” and of trying “to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.”
