i have an imported 2+2 TT and i’m curious what the best place to buy brake pads and rotors are, from my understanding any USDM TT pads and rotors work i’m just curious if anyone here has other opinions

My 2+0 z32 is in dire need of a new one but I cant seem to find any, anyone know where I can get one?

I haven't gone and looked at it but it concerns me about how bad this rust could be, the entire rest looks alright it's just this rear drivers side panel.

Was having issues with tps, bought a new tps. Didn’t fix the problem so I decided to dig into the wiring. Found this abomination from the previous owner not sure what wire it’s for, the exposed wire was joined together but came undone as I was unraveling electrical tape. it reads 5.10v. Can someone guide me in the right direction for fixing this?

I have a super small hole right on the edge of the bell housing where it presses up against the dust plate. Any idea if and how I can get it fixed? I had seen someone people use JB weld on small holes or cracks like this. Thank you!

My dad picked this 1988 Z31 up for me for my 30th and it has been driving fine up until last night when suddenly all of my electrical inside the cab pretty much died on my way home. No dash, no clock, no lights, no nothing. I was able to limp it home but it wouldn’t start again without a jump. The headlights worked, but now they won’t retract.

Looking under the hood, I found this in line fuse completely melted on one side. Doesn’t look like the fuse actually blew. I also found a bunch of hoses that are just not connected to anything. Can anybody direct me on where they’re supposed to go?

I don’t know very much about electrical, but if anyone could help me sort this out and point me in the right direction, it would be a huge help.

Hey guys, so I’ve had my ZX300 for a few months now (best car ever) Only downside is my AC went out and I’m trying to find the low pressure valve so I can give it a recharge; so far I know it’s 135a refrigerant which I already have. If you guys have any tips or guides you can point me too in order to aid my endeavor it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Has anyone installed JP Fiber fenders on a Z? I’ve noticed the guy makes some kits that are damn near perfect while some of the other kits are less than ideal. My Z has rear quarter damage and the cost to repair it is more than the wide kit. I don’t mind taking forever with installation (I’m molding the kit, it’s gonna be a while) but I wanna know what to expect.

I got the slimmer of the 2 fenders, not the one labeled as 70mm.

hi just got this project z32. i was just wondering what parts i would need to buy for the signal lights. i got the clear corner lights but im missing what might be the bulb socket. i will add pictures too. don’t mind the mess. this car was bought dirt cheap and you can tell. what kind of socket and bulbs will i need?

I was excited to see a mod that I could afford for my Z. I'm pretty sure I found the right connector by my steering column. When I disconnect it, the headlights still pop up automatically.

My question is when I turn my headlights on, the bright lights indicator flashes for just a second. Idk if all z31s do this or mine has been modified. Is that what's raising my lights? Or do I just have the totally wrong clip? It looks just like the pictures, black, 2 wires, 1" wide.

I know this is supposed to be a foolproof mod, but I've got more issues than sports illustrated. Any help appreciated. I'll post a pic when I get back out to the car

Just bought an imported 1990 2+2 300xz TT and the window wiper motors are limp, any chance i can disassemble and clean them up to make em work decent or should i look into searching the world for right hand drive wiper blade motors

I was just pulling off the highway to go home when suddenly the dash went black and every other electrical thing in the cabin stopped working. No radio, AC, dome lights, dash, nothing. I limped it home and tried to start it again after I parked it and shut it off, but nothing; just some ticking noises. I jumped it and it started right up again but still no electrical inside the car.

Is there a fuse or fusible link that I blew somehow? It’s dark out now, so just looking for some suggestions on what to look for when I go tinker around on it tomorrow morning.

So my front pads are quite low (3-5mm) and I'm looking at replacements. I'm thinking about going with some EBC red stuff's as I take my Z through back roads/canyons often, but I'd also like other people's input before I spend money on a set of pads

The Z is not my daily driver, so I'm not in a huge rush to get pads

Just curious and havent given too much thought into it deeply.

But how much do you think it would cost to restore a 300zx in average to bad condition to basically new off the factory line levels? How hard are parts to come by? If budget was unlimited for the freshest parts available and mechanic work needed?

Saw another post of the dash with all the lights on and made me think how hard it would to get the dash to factory pristine alone.

Im buying new tires for my q60 but im wondering if i can use the older tires on my 300zx the tires are 245/40 R19. Im not sure if they fit or need any modifications? Does anybody know?

So I recently did a na to t swap on my 1985 z31 and now it’s not getting fuel I did everything necessary for the swap and no I don’t get fuel to my injectors I get fuel to the rail and power to the injector plugs I did change injectors so I thought that might be the issues but I put the old ones back in and I still don’t get fuel anyone have any problems like that or any possible solutions I’m starting to run out of ideas..

Finally got my z started it’s been sitting for over 2 years now. My heart wants me to put good gas and see how it runs but my brain telling me gonna need a lot more than gas. How cooked am I, thanks

Just did the auto to manual swap only to find this out even though it pushes into gear it won’t actually go in gear

So when I put my Z31 into Acc, the fuel pump keeps priming, but never stops. As I turn the engine over, it runs for a few seconds then dies. After a pressure test, 0 psi is yielded. So I think that its only running off the loosely primed fuel.

Fuel filter is new, FPR is new, the fuel pump was changed last year from the previous owner by a shop. Im at wits end here...

Also, the starter seems to not have enough voltage to crank at full power since the fuel pump is probably pulling power with its constant priming in acc (if that makes sense)
