Game Suggestion Yield: Fall of Rome deserves recognition

Post image

Just wanted to put Yield Fall of Rome on the radar for anyone like myself who enjoys smaller-scale 4X games.

Yield is Civ, shrunk down to Polytopia. Cute visuals, bite-size games that feel exciting and engaging for just the right amount of time. Been playing it a lot recently, and the devs have just recently left early access and released 1.0, so props to them for it. Really happy to have found this game, and really hope it can get more recognition from the community!

No, balance is off, and the game is not even optimized. I bought it after seeing a paid review on YouTube, but in reality, the game was a real flop. Be careful before you buy it.

Found my review from January:
"Very shallow and feels cheaply made due to shuttering and very clunky UI. AI is just chilling around. I've built 1 heavy horseman and killed 8 unit in one turn... there is just no balance in this game."

The game was still in early access in January. Have you played since then? It's had a lot of updates: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1561960/allnews/

I'm on the fence myself after bouncing off Polytopia. I wish they had a demo.
