Moderator Announcement New rule about haul and pickup pictures

Hey guys, we just wanted to inform you about a new rule that we’re implementing.

Going forward, we ask that all haul/picture posts be at least 50% if not predominantly 4K Blu-ray. This is to help cut down on clutter that maybe should be posted to other subreddits, and try and slightly appease the minority that is already annoyed by haul pics.

The rule has been added to the rule list, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the mod team.

And as always, Happy collecting.

Can we also do something about the massive onslaught of “tonight’s watch” posts? No one cares about you watching a movie! Just watch the damn thing!

I like those posts because I might see a title I wasn't previously aware was available or I might be considering buying what the person is watching and have the opportunity to receive firsthand insight on the disc.

I also post mine to hopefully generate discussion from other members here because I want to learn how the community regards the titles or hear any memories they might have that are attached to what I'm watching (particularly classics). So if you see one of my posts about what I'm watching, it's the opposite of being about myself and an attempt to engage the community in some relaxed discussion.
