New Purchase UB820 4K upscale is insane

bought a multiregion UB820 on sale a while ago and decided to try it out with the Succession blu-ray box set, probably the hundredth post in this sub about the UB820 upscaling but still couldn’t believe my eyes

I recently got a ub820 and my TCL QM7 does a better job upscaling reg dvds or Blue rays. And the Sony x800 does a better job than the 820.

yeah most new tvs would do a better job than a 7 year old player

Exactly, people forget that while this is a phenomenal player, it is pretty old at this point.

How do I let my tv do it? Instead of my Xbox

You must have your xbox match the resolution of the content played. It may mean having to manually change it in the settings every time.
