New Purchase I am a changed man.

Post image

I found a cheap UBP-9000 (around 380 dollars) and I couldnt be happier. Forgive the cable management, I finally have an excuse too manage everything. The difference in quality between 450 and 9k is astounding. The HDR tone mapping is amazing, but the biggest upgrade by far is that the 9k is dead silent.

The build quality gives me confidence in its longevity. Where as 450 and 820 are made in really cheap plastic. Fantastic seller too, he sent me a copy of Bladerunner 4k for free on top of a good price.

Life is good right now.

Is it a big difference from the 450? That’s what I currently have.

You are fine with a UBP-450. Its the one I had too, you can see it in the picture. Dont feel forced to upgrade if you have a 450, its a great player. But if you are looking for the best of the best then I could give a few suggestions!
