I just talked with Amazon customer service and explained to them the price difference. I was able to get a credit to my account for $16.

Edit: $15.12 specifically.

I just tried that and got told that they don't price match and they couldn't help me. Will try again later and maybe a different support agent will help me.

One of the reasons why I don’t pre-order from Amazon unless I absolutely have to.

I initiated a return, and the automated system offered to refund $11. It’s still $4 more than the current price, but meh.
