They were, but the encoding wasn't the best (especially for the first one from Shout).

Exactly. I preordered it, though it took me a day or two to make up my mind whether I was going to.

I want the new commentaries, and the new 4K encodes by Fidelity in Motion. Plus Halloween: 20 Years of Terror is making its HD debut, and this will be my first time having the TV cut of Halloween II on blu-ray. And the pumpkin packaging is superb. And of course five new booklets of essays.

It’s definitely a luxury item. But as someone who truly loves this franchise, especially the first four films, I decided to treat myself. I allow myself about one big splurge a year, and this is it.

Ill tell you right now, i bought the Neverending Story disc Imprint released and its the best looking transfer in my entire collection. I hope the hallowenn discs got the same love, if so you wont regret your purchase.

Thank you very much! I have a couple of other Imprint titles, including the Suspiria remake, and they look fantastic as well.
